| The right side of the Deutsches Kriegs Room features an 18 foot high ceiling which nicely accomodates three large wall mounted show cases housing a portion of Wittman's naval collection. The "look" is completed with an original oak-carved, open-winged eagle which clutches a wreathed swastika. This bird must have decorated a government building during the "1000 year" Reich, but luckily survived the denazification process rendered to most remaining wood carvings. Next.... |
