WOUNDBADGES #24920 Silver Wound Badge with Titled Packet

The packet of this Silver Wound Badge example is the off-white manila type. It shows some age and wear, but there are no tears or any problems.

The packet is titled Berwundeten-/Abzeichen/Silber. This, of course, translates to Silver Wound Badge. There is also old ink writing on the upper portion of the badge indicating it is a Silver Wound example. This was done probably years ago, but since it is in English, must have been done by a collector.

The badge itself is the solid zinc type. It still has silvering which covers about 2/3's of the outer border, and it is also evident on the raised-out swastika as well as on the grips of both of the swords.
