This softback format is 160 pages of excellent photos and text.
For the first time, the foreign daggers of both WW1 and WW2 are
finally identified. Although the Milestone chapter in Tom Johnson's
great series is excellent,it is tremendous to have a first rate
reference devoted to this area. In addition to the foreign pieces
,Kurt also covers German Damascus makers and their tang marks,German
Imperial Naval pieces, fantasy pieces and even the current
reproductions coming out of Texas. An extremely worthwhile addition
to your reference library. The price is a "song" compared to the value
you will receive from this book.Highly recommended.(6)

Kurt Glemser continues his outstanding efforts with Axis and Foreign
daggers with the recent introduction of Volume 3 of his series.
This hardbound, 260 page book, in 6" x 9 1/2" format,
comes with beautiful color dust cover. For the first time in his
series, Glemser addresses the beautiful Italian Naval Cadet dirks,
Rumanian edged weapons are detailed from their inception, new
information is disclosed on the Austrian Pilots dagger, the Croatian
daggers of former Yugoslavia are discussed in detail, the true
beauty of the awesome Czech and Slovakians Pilots daggers of the
former Czechoslovakia are revealed. If this were not enough, there
is an extensive chapter on the extremely well-made Swiss Army
daggers, a chapter on Polish daggers, and finally the art of Damascus
is discussed with Egon Dinger, the son of the famous Damascus
smith family active during Imperial and Third Reich Germany. Many
photographs are illustrated in full color. A tremendous effort
here, and a must for every serious edged weapons collection library.(8)

This is the fourth volume in the on-going series,
and I must say,I think it is the best. The book has lots of very high grade rare
Foreign daggers, many illustrated in full color. Additionally,
there is a section showing many of these daggers being worn -
something sorely lacking with this collector market. This beautiful
book is 252 pages in length. Some of the chapters include the
Swiss Army, East German Presentations, Turkish daggers, Youth
Knives, the Koratorium Bohemia and Moravia dagger and much more.
There are fantastic color photos of German Imperial Naval dirks,
Bulgarian Flyers dirk, Turkish Naval w/ straps, Hlinka Guard -
great stuff, here. Highly recommended purchase even if you do
not collect these daggers - nice to know other markets.(6)

This huge, hard back reference book
has just been released andit is a real crowd pleaser. Finally, SS collectors have their
wish - there are thousands of SS items illustrated in full color
in hundreds of "killer" photos. This book will grab
the viewer totally. Just opening the cover causes instant captivation!
The color work is the best you see. Illustrated with lots of close-up
photography are such tremendous things as totally original and
untouched, SS swords, daggers, bayonets, uniforms, headgear, helmets,
pistols, collar tabs and cuff titles, and even honor rings - virtually
everything the SS used or wore. Absolutely first rate throughout,
printed on quality gloss paper - total money-back guarantee if
you are not simply ecstatic with this book. If you want color
photos of the best stuff there is, I can not say enough about
this book - 248 pages in 11" x 9" format with dust cover.
With the fall of the Iron Curtain,
the most-attractive, and finelymade edged weapons of the countries which made up Czechoslovakia
are being introduce to the West. This book is the first effort
to identify these fine daggers and swords. Many of the pictures
are in first-rate line drawing form, with text is English, German
and Czech. The book is hardback, 8" x 6" format, 239
pages.
Hardcover. Authored by Stephen Cook and
Stuart Russell. Published in 1999 and not soon enough! Wewelsburg Castle
,the epicenter of SS doctrine, now presented in 250 striking pages. Included in the text
is scarcely known information and rarely seen photographs of Himmler's
occult headquarters. This book covers the early history of the castle and
the SS conversion. Features many aspects of activity during the Third Reich period
and beyond. Exclusive photos of artwork, SS officers, and Wewelsburg architecture.
Six chapters and six appendixes. Appendix covers SS ranks, structure, and different
personnel. Well presented and well documented. A real must have!
If you don't know what any
blades are, other than Third Reich, you need this catalog reproduction. You can I.D. that strange
looking Fireman's Pig Sticker or find out the Crest of your Model
89 Infantry Sword is from Mecklenberg and thus ultra-rare. I just
do not know how collectors can be without this reference compiled
and printed by Gerhardt Windbiehl. It is a softback, large format
of some 150 pages of knowledge. Absolutely essential for the budding
Imperial Collector.
Hardbound, 1st edition. Volume 1.
(1988). The coveted Johnson/Wittmann Imperial reference book. A must for
every edged weapons collector. Covers development and production of edged
German sidearms from 1871-1918. Explores Army, Navy, Forestry, and Government
agencies along with others. Accompanying accoutrements are also included.
Profusely photographed in black and white and color. A welcomed edition to
to any collectors library. Minor wear on dust jacket.
An almost exact duplicate of the famous "Kundendienst"
right down to the loose-leaf format. Very exciting to see these
fine catalogs reproduced as originals are impossible to find,
and the information to be gleaned is so necessary. I applaud Reddick
Enterprises on this effort. Get yours now, and really begin to
enjoy the collecting of this famous "Quality Eickhorn"
product.
This 16 page depictment of the WKC line is almost identical to
the original. They are slightly smaller in format and do not have
color on the first page - otherwise they are identical. This reference
is absolutely a must if you are going to collect daggers. There
is no substitute for factory pictures of their product. I refer
to this catalog constantly in my descriptions in the Offering.
A quality job, by Reddick Enterprises, in Texas.
This twelve page reprint of the rare original Geb. Grafrath catalog,
is so well done it is almost impossible to distinguish from the
original. The work was performed by well-known collector and author,
Skipper Greenwade. This early 1930's catalog has lots of those
"custom-ordered" hunting knives and cutlasses, and also
features the famous "fold-down" example sometimes associated
with the Luftwaffe. In addition to the hunting line, there is
a full page devoted to the S/A, Hitler Youth, and bayonets. Worthwhile
item.
This book is literally "The Key" to discovering the
identity of the original owner of your SS dagger, degen, peaked
cap, tunic or other artifact which may contain the original carrier's
SS serial number. If the number did belong to an SS Officer, this
book will tell you which Dienstalterliste (List of Officers compiled
for most pre-war years and also in 1944 by the SS) your particular
number appears, as well as the page on which the officer is listed.
Once armed with this information, it is an easy task to look up
the individual (if you have copies of the various SS lists. A
reprint of the 1937 SS Diensterliste is available from me), and
find out lots of information. If your number is not listed, you
know right away, your man was not an officer, and therefore difficult
to research - gives you the immediate information you may want
to know before you buy the item. But, if the number traces to
an officer, professional researchers such as Mr. Brule or Rob
McDivitt can help you gather an entire dossier on your SS officer.
But, this book is the start. I've used my personal copy on a number
of occasions already, and it is right on - what a job it must
have been to cross reference these many hundreds of thousands
of names! Absolute necessity for the serious collector researcher.
Mr. Brule has made life a lot easier for us, all for a very reasonable
price.

This 630 Page book is a soft cover format, printed in 1999. The
medals and awards of the Imperial Period, as well as those of
the 3rd Reich Period are listed and photographed front and back
- literally thousands of them. There are also in-wear photos.
The text is in the German language, and there are literally 1000's
of medals pictured - but, we all understand the language of photos.
The prices of the medals are listed in German Marks, but this
is an easy conversion to dollars. An extremely useful book and
a necessity for your library, reasonably priced.

identify the German uniforms and bayonets of all periods covering
Imperial through Third Reich Period. There are over 650 fantastic,
clearly defined photographs showing uniforms and bayonets, guns,
swords, and medals in-wear. Many of the clear photos show blow-ups
of the edged weapons themselves. There are 161 Pages. All captions

about German uniforms, regiments, spiked helmets, and bayonet
varieties just looking at these photos - you will too. Can't go
wrong. 9" X 12" format.

#25850-THE NPEA DAGGER AND ASSOC. (HITLER YOUTH) KNIVES
- Ron Weinand.
This soft back is 151 pages of incredible text and photographs,
in a 9 1/2 X 6 1/2 format. The book explains the "obscure"
field of the NPEA dagger, revealing all of the secrets of the
mysterious School stampings, NPEA graduation markings, Burgsm_ller
blades and variations, and rarely seen Eickhorn models produced
exclusively for the NPEA. In addition, there is much history concerning
the various NPEA Schools giving their location, curriculum, number
of students, dates established and much more. If this book is
used in conjunction with the extensive chapter on NPEA daggers
appearing in Johnson's Volume 6, of Collecting the Edged Weapons
of the 3rd Reich , the collector will have a superior working
knowledge of this exciting and intellectually stimulating field
of collecting. In addition to NPEA information, there is also
a section on Hitler Youth Leader and HJ Knives. Highly recommended,
simple-to-understand-book, reasonably priced. Educate yourself!
#25850-(Postpaid) $ 29.95.
#25859-GERMAN CLAMSHELL AND OTHER BAYONETS - Ron Weinand.
This softbound book is a 9 1/2 X 6 1/2 format, being 160 pages.
It covers all of the variations found in Police clamshell bayonets
- the long and the short examples, the Weimar and the 3rd Reich
types, engraved blades, gold examples, presentations, etc. There
is no other book that delves as deeply into the subject. I personally
believe these bayonets are still a great investment, as they are
of tremendous quality and quite rare, but still are to be found,
usually reasonably priced. This book really brings the subject
into perspective featuring lots of history, many great photos
- some in color, and even variations such as the ultra-rare PSS
Models and even features on the Butcher Bayonets also used during
the 3rd Reich. In addition, there are some terrific photos of
etched dress bayonets, covering many of the rarest and most desirable
etches of all - the Eickhorn and E. Pack Panzer motifs. A great
book you will not only enjoy having in your library, but it is
guaranteed to get you interested in Clamshell Bayonets. Recommended
