  2.  PERIOD #34044 Adolf Hitler Cigarette Album

This cigarette album measures 12 inches by 9 inches having orange hard cover with gold embossing of the title, “Adolf Hitler”. These albums were given out by cigarette companies and as cigarettes were purchased the pictures which were to be put into them were given out. This album is complete with all photographs. The book is 133 pages. These cigarette albums were Party propaganda publications and the pictures contained within look identical to genuine photographs. If you have never seen one of these photo albums you are in for a real treat. The album details in photography as well as printed text in the German language the rise of Adolf Hitler as Reich Chancellor. The album covers the first few years printed in 1936. The book shows quite a bit of age and wear with a small tear in the binding at the top. The pages have gone brown and are wavy but the photographs are in perfect condition. Just looking at this book for about a half an hour will get you all excited about this hobby and the history behind it all.

    Excellent. $95.00

The catalog has all features complete inside to include the fold out section in the reverse which shows the available etched bayonet blade as well as etched sword blades. The price list booklet is also in choice condition in the rear of the catalog. If you are a book collector as well as a dagger collector this Eickhorn catalog is the best you will find on today’s marketplace. A beautifully conditioned catalog here.

  5. PERIOD #33130C Police Uniform Book from Kurt Daluege

This Police Uniform Book is a 10 ½ by 13, bound with string and has a canvas like cover with embossed silver police emblem. The book has a birthday dedication to to Karl Wolff and is dated 13 May, 1939. The signature on the book is that of SS-Oberstgruppenführer and Generaloberst der Polizei Kurt Daluege. The book is a watercolor study of the different uniforms worn by the police. Some of the drawings are really interesting as there is one for the waterways police as well as the SS police. In this page a police officer is shown with the SS runes below his left pocket and wearing an SS officer’s degen complete with an SS portepee. Many of the prints show police bayonets being worn but honestly the artist was not into edged weapons as there is some license taken in his portrayals. The book has a total of thirteen watercolor style portrayals and at the reverse has the complete power structure of the breakdown in the German police. A fine collectible volume here of which this is the first example I have seen. All of the portrayals seem to have been painted by an artist by the name of “D.F. Knötel”.

This 11"X13" book details with text and fascinating photographs the important events which occured in the Reich from 30 January through 21 March, 1933. This was a transitional three month period during which Hitler used his elected office as Chancellor to force President Hindenburg to grant him full dictatorial powers over Germany on the 21st of March, 1933. Shortly after, in June, the Röhm purge occurred and Hitler received the full endorsement of the the German Army for his actions. The fate of Germany was sealed. 18. PERIOD #17663 Olmpyia 1936 (Volume 2) 2

This is exciting photo/cigarette album of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, covering the Summer Events. It contains tons and tons of photos of the athletic events hosted in the infamous Berlin stadium, with Hitler in attendance. This was the acclaimed Olympic Games in which Jesse Owens delivered a crippling blow to the idea of the so-called "Master Race" by leaving the Nazi Supermen in the dust in many track events. Needless to say, this was an epic embarrassment for Hitler, as he was eager to showcase the prowess of his new "invincible" Germany. This album is a complete example containing hundreds of photos, many showing German athletes in military uniform with daggers. You'll see some German female athletes as well, looking very good in suprisingly (for the time) scanty outfits, as well as fencing, rowing, boxing, gymnastics, et cetera. Many photos of of a wide variety of NSDAP regalia and plenty of excited posturing by Party Officials. This Summer Album seems rather harder to find than the Winter version. 10"X12" format, with blue canvas cover. Complete listing of all medal winners included. Shows some minor age.

    Excellent. $300.00

  19. PERIOD #16901 "Der Kamph Im Westen" 3D Book with Glasses

This gray, leather-bound book details the hugely successful early war years of the Wehrmacht, including the occupation of the Low Countriesand France. Although the photos need to be put back in order, and there are about 100 of them, they are all still present and intact. They show tremendous scenes of the Wehrmacht in action. You'll see machine gunners, tanks, the Compeigne train capitulation of France, artillery, carrier pigeons... Not to mention the carnage of war! A great study here, and it all looks as if it is occuring live right before your eyes when viewed with the included, original and German-made stereoscopic glasses. There are 71 pages of text in the original German detailing the images. Minor repair evident to the rear cover. Amazing, and a bargain at twice the price!

    Excellent Plus. $650.00

  20. PERIOD #17468 Adolph Hitler Cigarette Album

A fabulous book filled with hundreds of photographs detailing the life of the Führer. If you have never read a book on the Third Reich the information and photos in this volume will provide a nearly complete education. This book was printed for propaganda purposes, showing Hitler in parades, campaigning, hard at work at the Führerbau, Obersalzberg, great cars and tanks and just about anything else you might imagine, and then some! Great shots in the Reich Chancellery, strutting about with Göring, Raeder, Hess, von Shirach, Himmler... Indeed, the whole sordid cast of the usual suspects. Good times at the Feldherrnhalle, SS locker review, the Aviso Grille yacht. The list goes on and on! These cigarette albums were given out to German citizens, and as the "volk" bought cigarettes album pictures were given out to be pasted into the designated spots in the book. This proved and excellent source of income for both Hitler and the NSDAP. These photos are 100% complete and in mint condition. 133 truly fascinating pages. This is the book that veterans often mistook for Hitler's personal photo album, and when you see it you will understand why!
