  1.  MEDALS #33711 Anti-Partisan Badge

This Anti-partisan Badge is in the bronze class and is a hollow-backed variety. The badge has some old residue in the recesses which I think is probably left over from some type of cleaning product used years ago. It might be glass wax or something like that. I elected not to clean the residue out, but I’m sure that it would easily come out if the next purchaser would like to do so. The partisan badge is an oval shape having an open center. The ovals depict raised out overlapping oak leaves around the circumference. In the center area, there is a staff-like object that has a sunwheel swastika in the upper portion, and at the lower portion it features a smiling skull. Wrapped around the staff are two serpents, both of which have their heads just to the inside at about the 7 and 9 o’clock portion of the oval. The reverse of the badge features a barrel hinge with a straight pin. The catch appears to be soldered directly to the badge. This badge was acquired directly from the grandson of a veteran with many other good badges. It is absolutely guaranteed original and I had the grandson sign a letter to this affect. This documentation will accompany the badge if desired.

    Excellent. $1,895.00(#020612)

  2.  MEDALS #33702 Bronze Spanish Cross with Swords

This Bronze Spanish Cross is a direct purchase from the grandson of the veteran that brought it home. It is a fine authentic medal in choice condition. The medal features a vaulted style Maltese cross having pebbled pattern inside of plain borders. In the center is a raised double circle which has a mobile swastika in the middle. The swastika is slightly above the height of the raised circles as is proper with these medals. There is a pair of crossed swords between each of the legs. The lower legs feature the hilts of the swords. These swords are a medieval like variety having a crucible design to the hilts. The grips of the two swords are finely hand checkered. Very nice work here! Applied to the upper blade of the two swords are Luftwaffe eagles clutching cut out mobile swastikas. At the bottom of the blades between the upper legs of the cross there are additional Luftwaffe eagles with swastikas applied. The workmanship and quality throughout this badge is outstanding. The reverse has a double style hinge with a coke bottle shaped matching brass pin. The catch at the bottom is applied to the cross. An outstanding original example here.

    Excellent Plus, Plus. $1,350.00

  3.  MEDALS #33712 Panzer Assault Badge

This Panzer Assault Badge is produced in late zinc based format having outstanding silvered finish. The finish is all still in the original luster showing no wear. The badge depicts an oval having overlapping oak leaves at the border and at the top is positioned a Wehrmacht eagle facing to the viewer’s right clutching a mobile swastika. In the lower area of the badge there is an outstanding detailed tank making its way through the left oval of the badge. The details are outstanding to this tank. The reverse of the badge has a hinge with a built in style straight pin which is connected to a catch with a cup at the bottom which is soldered to the medal. To the left of the catch is the maker mark which appears to be a “W” with some serrations above it. The logo is enclosed within a circle. An outstanding guaranteed original badge.

    Mint. $250.00

  4.  MEDALS #33714 Infantry Assault Badge

This Infantry Assault Badge has an excellent surface, still having its silvered finish throughout. The badge is an oval which features overlapping oak leaves running throughout the surfaces. At the top there is a Wehrmacht eagle to the viewer’s right and clutching a swastika. In the open center of the badge is a K98 rifle with fixed bayonet having outstanding detail throughout the workings and equipped with a sling. This badge appears to have little to no wear. Unfortunately, on the reverse of the badge the hinge as well as the pin are gone to time. The catch still remains in place. This catch has a bottom circular potion which is soldered to the medal. If there is someone out there who has a hinge and pin, this badge with make a really great example. It is priced accordingly.

    Excellent. $40.00

  5.  MEDALS #33713 Infantry Assault Badge

This Infantry Assault Badge is still in very nice condition having about 85% of its original silvered surfaces. On the reverse, the silvering is almost all still there. The badge is an oval having overlapping oak leaves running around the border. At the top of the oval is a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika looking to the viewer’s right. Across the diagonal of the oval there is a K98 rifle complete with fixed bayonet and sling. The details are nicely done on the rifle. The reverse of the badge has a hinge with the pin top bent through the center area. The pin is a straight example and the hook is soldered directly to the badge. The reverse of the badge reveals that it is nicely vaulted and it has a good barrel hinge with coke bottle shape pin. The cup hook is soldered directly to the surface of the medal. In the center of the reverse, the medal is stamped “935” which is the equivalent of sterling silver. This must have been an extremely nice cross when it was originally produced. Still, it is a nice looking example except for the missing black finish. It is priced accordingly.

The ribbon shows a little bit of running to the colors but it is black in the center with twin white stripes and black edges. I don’t know whether the Spange is marked on the reverse as it would be necessary to take out the prongs to see this. There are four original prongs to the reverse of this medal. A very nice item here which was given to soldiers who had already won the Imperial iron cross second class and if they won it again during the Second World War, then this Spange was given instead.

  45. MEDALS #33470C Russian Winter Medal With Ribbon and Issue Packet

This Russian Winter Medal has all of its original gray and later silver finish. The detail is outstanding throughout, depicting a helmet at the top positioned over a stick grenade. On the obverse, there is a Wehrmacht style eagle clutching an immobile swastika. On the reverse, there is the standard writing which meant “winner in the east 1941/42”. Below this is a crossed sword and laurel leaf. The original ribbon is in place, being a red lined satin with center stripes of black with white edges. The original brown color issue packet shows a little bit of age and minor crinkling, but it is all there. It has the name of the medal printed on the obverse.

  46. MEDALS #33471C 1938 RLB Air Raid Protection Honor Award With Ribbon and Issue Packet

This RLB Honor Award is stamped in a white color metal and is about the size of a silver dollar. It features a swastika raised out in the center and has a wreath of overlapping oak leaves running around the outside border. The purpose of the medal is in raised German letters, meaning “For True Service to the RLB”. On the reverse, the medal is the same except the swastika is replaced by the raised out date in the center “1938”. The ring at the top of the medal is stamped “10” which was the manufacturer “Forester und Barth, Pforzheim”. The medal comes with the pristine ribbon. It has a light purple center with border lines on each side of red, white and black. The brown issue packet is printed with the name of the medal on the obverse. The issue pack has the lid torn from it but otherwise is in good condition. A very fine medal here.

  47. MEDALS #33474C Cased 25 Year Faithful Service Cross

The box for this Faithful Service Cross is in excellent condition, having a leatherette type surface with a spiked circle embossed into the lid with the numeral “25” in the center. The inside case is lined in red velvet and has a center separator bar. The 25-year service cross is a pristine frosted example, having nearly 100% of the original finish. There is a black immobile swastika composed of enamel. The reverse of the medal has the words in German for “Faithful Service.” The original blue ribbed ribbon is attached and has the original pin on the reverse. This is about as nice of an example you are likely to find.

  48. MEDALS #33479C War Merit Medal With Ribbon

This War Merit Medal is a round medallion about the size of a fifty cent piece. It is a fine bronze Tombac strike. On the obverse, it displays a war merit medal with Maltese cross pebbled legs and a raised wreath with mobile swastika in the center. The reverse has the German words for the medal’s purpose “For War Service 1939”. The ribbon is in un-issued condition, having a small orange stripe in the center with larger black stripes on either side and a smaller white and matching red stripe on each edge. A nice conditioned example here.

  49. MEDALS #33215 25 Panzer Badge

This 25 Panzer Badge is a very fine example, showing lots of patination but still appears to have the original finish. The outside oval appears to still have most of its original brass finish, although it has toned deeply. The badge depicts raised touching oak leaves which go throughout the border and at the top there is a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika. At the bottom of the oval is a rectangular shaped plaque with the numeral “25” raised out inside. Through the center of the open badge is a gray colored Panzer. The tank is coming out of the badge with its left side overlapping the oval rim. The details throughout the tank are extraordinary, particularly to the gears and treads, as well as the turret and cannon. The reverse of the badge shows that it is a vaulted piece and has the raised maker’s initials “JFS”. The hinge is a barrel style with a coke bottle shaped flat pin and catch which has a base applied to the badge. The original silvering still appears to be nearly 100% on the reverse of this badge. The two small rivets which retain the tank have fine, small, rounded finished heads. An outstanding original example here.

On the reverse, the date “1813” appears on the lower leg. The accompanying ribbon is in crisp, un-issued condition, being red in the center with edge stripes of white and black. The original packet is still crisp and in perfect condition. It is a gray colored manila paper having the designation of the award printed in black gothic lettering. A very fine example here.

  52. MEDALS #33144 Russian Winter Medal With Ribbon and Issue Packet

This Russian Winter Medal is extremely crisp throughout having full plating to the gray surfaces and the silvered border and helmet above. The medal is about the size of a silver dollar, depicting a Wehrmacht eagle on the obverse clutching an immobile swastika. On the reverse is the purpose of the medal “winterschlacht/im osten/1941/42”. There is a sword positioned over a wreath of laurel leaves. The ring contains the original ribbon which is a red lined satin having a stripe in the center that is black and trimmed with white edges. A nice example here.

  53. MEDALS #33448C SA Pierced Stick Pin

This SA Stick Pin is slightly larger than the norm, measuring about 5/8” in diameter. The pin depicts a SA runes symbol within a pierced circle. It is silver colored and has excellent detail. The reverse of the badge is marked at the top “RZM” within a dual circle and below it is marked “54”. The pin has serrations along its stem. A nice item here.

  54. MEDALS #33441C Button-Backed SS Membership Runes Badge

This SS Runes Membership Button is the first one that I have seen with a button back to go through a buttonhole as opposed to the normally seen, which have a stick pin. The runes button is a most beautiful larger size having a copper background on the circle as well as the two runes lightning bolts. The enamel is perfect throughout, having a tiny factory flaw at about the 2:00 edge, but it is not a chip. The reverse of the badge with the buttonhole loop section is also of all copper. This is, in my opinion, a very rare original runes badge.

    Near Mint. $695.00

  55. MEDALS #33449C SS Runes Membership Stick Pin

This SS Membership Pin is a very fine example having black enamel surfaces with silver single ring around the outside and the silver SS runes on the inside. The enamel shows some age across the surfaces and there is just the slightest of a chip on just the edge at about the 2:00 portion. Otherwise, the button is nice and clean throughout. On the reverse, the button is marked “Hoffstatter/Bonn” and there is also the number “1627”. The stick pin is the serrated type and it has a brass stopper attached to it to keep the pin in place. This stopper is also marked “Re’st Pat Aug 17 09 Hold-on”. This means that the stopper was patented with the patent reserved on August 17, 1909. “Hold-on” must have been the trade name for this item. A very neat pin here.

  56. MEDALS #33446C Shield Shaped Members SS Runes Stickpin

This SS Stickpin is unusual in that it is a shield shape instead of the usual round type. The shield has black enamel with a fine set of patinated silvered SS runes in the center. The reverse of the pin is unmarked but shows much age. The pin has the serrations on its surfaces. This pin certainly looks original to me.

    Excellent Plus. $395.00

  57. MEDALS #33445C SS Runes Membership Stickpin

This SS Stickpin is slightly unusual in that it has the standard black enamel surfaces and features double silver rings, but the SS runes are open style just having silver boundaries. This SS pin appears to be absolutely original and has good patina throughout the reverse area. The stick pin is properly serrated. An interesting example and probably a variation.

    Mint. $395.00

  58. MEDALS #33447C SA Runes Membership Stickpin

This SA Membership Stickpin features an SA runes button which appears to be similar to the type installed in an SA grip. The button has a slightly golden tone to its outside circular area which also matches the tones of the SA runic symbol. The brown enamel is still in perfect condition in the backgrounds. The reverse is unmarked and the pin has fine serrations on the surfaces.

    Excellent Plus. $295.00
