  1. INSIGNIA2 #29646C SS Cap Eagle

This SS cap eagle still has a good patinated silver finish. It displays and open-winged bird which looks to the viewer’s right and grasps a wreathed swastika in its talons. On the reverse there is a faint RZM circle at the left wing. One prong is broken off and the other prong is still in place. A good-looking display item here.

    Excellent. $495.00

  2. INSIGNIA2 #30052 Reich Level Political Leader's Collar Tabs

This set of collar tabs is quite attractive having the yellow gold border signifying the state level. The tabs themselves are a pink velvet color. Each tab has a gold Party style eagle affixed to the top portion of the tab. These eagles are pressed through and bent over on the back. At the lower area of the tab there are three pips. These pips have the Party eagle and swastikas in the center. These tabs would be a detachment leader type. One of the tabs has the last two pieces of the original RZM issue paper on the back. The backs reveal that the tabs have a burlap like substance. A good pair to display with other political leader items.

    Excellent Plus. $295.00

  3. INSIGNIA2 #29922 Gau Level Political Leader's Collar Tab

This high level single collar tab was acquired personally by me from the family of a veteran. The collar tab has red velvet backing and it is bordered with the wine color piping designating gau level. Applied to the top of the tab is a gilded political eagle with swastika. Below this is a large single oak leaf with an acorn on each side of its stem. Below the leaf there are two sets of overlapping oak leaves which act as a base. This collar tab is for the rank of, “Haupt-Abschittleiter”. On the reverse of the collar tab the original RZM tag is in place. This tag is blue printing with a number of, “21” stamped at the middle and a run number of, “251388”. A fine original item here which would be a great display collar tab with some other political memorabilia.

    Excellent Plus. $395.00

  4. INSIGNIA2 #29854 9TH SS Panzer Division "Hohenstaufen" Cuff Title

This SS Hohenstaufen cuff title was awarded to the 9th SS Panzer Division on one February 1943. The cuff band is a NCO variety and is only known in the bevo woven format. This cuff title shows a little bit of age and usage but it is still in excellent, displayable condition and is an outstanding original artifact. The background, of course, is a black grain cloth material and bevo woven in a gray stitching are border lines and in black letters the name of their regiment “Hohenstaufen”. There is a little staining on the “t” and “a” letters which look to be old blood. An excellent opportunity here to acquire an original, rare SS Panzer cuff title.

    Excellent Plus. $2,395.00

  5. INSIGNIA2 #29813 RAD Collar Tab

This RAD collar tab is for the rank of Unterfeldmeister. It consists of a black velvet covering which is woven with an aluminum bullion thread. The thread is extremely tight and most impressive. If you are ever wondering how to tell good German weave craftsmanship from the reproduction stuff, this woven bullion should be studied. It is so tightly constructed that it almost appears to be a solid piece of metal. The insignia is flat on one end with a small tip on the other. There are larger aluminum dual cords which run through the center of the insignia, giving it a nice accent. The reverse of the collar tab reveals the covering is over a burlap fabric.

    Excellent Plus. $95.00

  6. INSIGNIA2 #29812 Customs Official's Collar Tab

This custom official’s collar tab is nicely done, having a lined green base fabric. The fabric is trimmed with aluminum bullion shaped like saw teeth which run with the teeth inward around the entire border of the tab. At the bottom horizontal area, there is a bullion symbolic wreath. Above the wreath, there are two aluminum pips applied which go through the tab and are folded over on the reverse. The fabric is covered over a brown manila-like substance. A nice looking tab here.

    Near Mint. $75.00

  7. INSIGNIA2 #29817 Small Luftwaffe Cap Eagle

I am not sure that this is a cap eagle, as it is fairly small. It appears to have three prongs on the back, two of which have stubs still visible, and the other one on the right wing has only the remains of the seated area. The eagle is the early droop-tail type, clutching a swastika and flying to the right. There are two areas on the wings where the feathering is brighter than the rest of the bird. The majority of the metallic portion of this bird is a dull gray color. A good display example, though.

    Excellent. $35.00

  8. INSIGNIA2 #29638C Veteran Sleeve Patch

This sleeve patch consists of a red shield with second style black Iron Cross woven into the center area and a double lined swastika in the middle. This shield is bevo woven to a white silk-like background material. This insignia does not appear to have been installed.

    Mint. $25.00

  9. INSIGNIA2 #29637C Army NCO Breast Eagle

This army NCO breast eagle is a field green silk background with a gray woven open-winged eagle. The eagle is very nicely done and looks to the viewer’s right and grasps a wreathed swastika in its talons. This eagle is unissued and ready to display or install on a tunic.

The eagle looks slightly upward to the viewer’s left, has half closed wings and has a superimposed mobile black swastika on his breast. A good-looking insignia here awarded to those that passed the physical training test.

    Mint. $40.00

  11. INSIGNIA2 #29628C Cloth RAD Service Insignia

This RAD insignia is woven to a black cloth. The background for the insignia is in a darker olive green color. It depicts a red rimmed shovel with white face and black mobile swastika in the center. The shovel is positioned over two wheat shafts. At the bottom of the depiction there is an RAD triangle with the patent pending words appearing on either side of this being, “Ges. Gesch.”. This insignia would have served the same purpose as the metal insignia on an RAD side cap.

    Mint. $75.00

  12. INSIGNIA2 #29631C Able Seaman Chevron

This chevron is made of a blue black wool material and is shaped in the form of a triangle. There is a yellow gold tress which is sewn to the bottom portion and sides of the triangle to form a “V” design. This designates rank on a naval able seaman.

    Excellent Plus. $40.00

  13. INSIGNIA2 #29630C Coastal Artillery Breast Eagle

This coastal artillery breast eagle is a very fine yellow woven example on a darker green background. The eagle looks to the viewer’s right and clutches a swastika within a wreath. The eagle feathers are touched up with green thread. A good looking breast eagle here.

    Mint. $65.00

  14. INSIGNIA2 #29632C Set of Three Hitler Youth Cap Insignia

This set of three Hitler Youth cap insignia appears to be a bevo diamond weave on white silk. The Youth insignia is very pretty with bright red, white and black swastika colors. These insignia have never been cut and obviously never issued. A good display example next to a Hitler Youth knife or like militaria.

    Mint. $45.00

  15. INSIGNIA2 #29583C RLB Hat Cockade

This RLB hat cockade is a little different from the normal type. It features the standard cockade in the center having the colors of black, white and red and then surrounding the cockade is an aluminum wreath of overlapping oak leaves. This is the designated pattern for the RLB peaked cap.

    Near Mint $45.00

  16. INSIGNIA2 #29582C RLB Hat Cockade

This cap cockade consists of a standard example that has a wreath of aluminum overlapping oak leaves run around the circumference. The oak leaves show a little bit of oxidation and there is some age to the cockade. The reverse of this cap insignia has two prongs for installing it on the cap band.

    Near Mint $40.00

  17. INSIGNIA2 #29579C Artillery Officer's Collar Tab

This Artillery Officer’s single collar tab consists of the dual aluminum braiding and a red center area designating artillery. The aluminum braiding is sewn to a green wool backing. The wool backing covers a burlap-like substance. The original threads are still on this tab from where it was taken from a tunic. If you are missing on this might fill the bill.

    Excellent Plus $50.00

  18. INSIGNIA2 #29650C Political Leader's Cap Eagle

This Political Leader’s cap eagle is a fine gilded color with lots of detail. The bird looks to the viewer’s right and has open wings. He clutches a wreath with a mobile swastika in his talons. The gilding is 100% throughout this eagle. On the reverse the three prongs are present and the bird is marked, “RZM M 1/72”.

    Mint $75.00

This cap eagle is the aluminum style and it does have some oxidation in the surfaces. It is possible that it would clean up some. The eagle’s head looks to the viewer’s right and the bird has open wings and clutches a wreathed mobile swastika in its tangs. There are two prongs on the reverse, the one on the right wing having broken off. Priced accordingly.

    Excellent $25.00

  19. INSIGNIA2 #29649C Aluminum Army Cap Eagle

This cap eagle has fine detail throughout being the style eagle which looks to the viewer’s right. This bird has an open wing spread and clutches a wreath with mobile swastika. There is a small hole in the center of the swastika which was the area where the prong was placed. There were two other prongs, one on each of the reverse of the wings but all are gone to time. This eagle does not seem to have any markings on the reverse but it still shows good detail and would make a fine display example.

    Excellent $50.00

  20. INSIGNIA2 #29663C Aluminum Propeller Insignia

This ringed propeller has good detail throughout and it appears to be an addition to a collar tab to designate flight personnel. The reverse of the insignia is marked with an RZM within a circle in the center. This would lead me to believe that the insignia was made for one of the political organizations such as the SA or Hitler Youth, both of which had flying sections. An interesting piece here with two prongs intact on the reverse.

    $35.00

  21. INSIGNIA2 #29660C RAD WJ Cap Badge

This cap badge was worn by the female sector of the RAD. The badge was worn on the female fedora. Excellent Plus. $75.00

  23. INSIGNIA2 #29417 RLB Member's Door Identification Marker

This RLB member’s door marker measures 3-inches round. In the center it is vaulted outward and features a silver sunburst having a black mobile swastika in the center. This was the insignia of the RLB. There is a lined border area which has the raised out name of the organization and the purpose all in black on a gray background. It is printed in Gothic letters, “Reichsluftschutzbund Mitglied” or “Government Air Raid Organization Member”. This disk has been factory lacquered so that it would have been protected from the elements as there are two holes on the diameter where nails or screws would have been placed to apply the insignia to the owner’s front door area. The insignia is together with its original paper separator as I’ve purchased a number of these still in the paper directly from the 101st airborne veteran who brought them back. These RLB member’s identification disks make for a great decorator item to display next to an RLB dagger or other memorabilia. Each insignia comes with the original separating tissue paper.

This cap insignia is the second style used by the Army, but it is an early steel based version. The insignia depicts an open-winged eagle looking to the right clutching a wreathed swastika. The detail is excellent although there is quite a bit of patination in the recesses. If your cap shows wear and some soiling this eagle would probably go very good with it. The eagle is the stamped out type having hollow back and all three of the original brass prongs are still in place. Excellent. $25.00

This insignia is profusely marked on the reverse with the maker’s name “Wilhelm Deumer Lüdencsched” and also the patent pending marks “ges. gesch.”. The two prongs are gone from the reverse.
