ORIGINAL DAGGER CATALOGS
L41-1173 CARL EICKHORN KUNDENDIENST
This Eickhorn catalog is the orange linen-covered style with three-ring notebook insert. The outside of the cover has nearly 100% gilding remaining to the embossing on front and the binding. As is often seen with these catalogs, the passing of a half century has caused the metal three-ring binding has come loose from the cover - not a big project to fix, if desired. The inside pages are all there to include all dagger and sword title separator manila pages, the fold-out color section on bayonet etches, and lastly, the extra services Eickhorn could render their customers, as well as the prices charged for all edged weapons, extras and even repairs. The amount of first-hand period knowledge to be gained from an original Kundendienst is extraordinary. The reproductions do not include the last section with bayonet etches and the all-important price lists. Hard to imagine you are a serious collector if you do not have an original Eickhorn catalog.

Excellent. $95.00L41-1181 EICKHORN KUNDENDIENST
This choice example of the Eickhorn catalog features a bright orange linen cover, having 100% intact gilted finish to the name and 1935-41 squirrel trademark - this is rare to see. The binding, unfortunately did rust from the cover portion, but I have not seen an example where this has not occurred over the years - the metal pieces of this loose leaf design were not plated, thus impossible for rust not to occur after over a half century. Anyhow we repaired the binding perfectly, and it is not detractive. The catalog contents are in fabulous condition, being complete with not only all the separators and beautiful color and black and white leaves, but also the rarely seen price list and fold-out etched sword and bayonet section is there. The reproduction version does not include this last portion - very important for the student of this hobby. This Kundendienst will make a tremendous addition to the library of the collector serious about his hobby - don't know how you could be in daggers without one of these. Great investment quality example.
