Inside, the base is ribbed and has overlapping oak leaves at the bottom and the slogan, "Gott Mit Uns" is at the top, raised out. The center area features a raised out, closed winged eagle which looks to the right and clutches a mobile swastika. This buckle is unmarked. It looks to be identical to the one in the center on page 76 of the Angolia New Belt Buckle Book.
Excellent Plus (22453) $110.00

BELTS - 061 - PENAL ENLISTED MAN'S BUCKLE

This buckle is a steel base in a rectangular form having aluminum coating paint. The center area features a series of round pebbles vaulted out of two double circles. This belt buckle is frequently called the "brain buckle" by collectors. The reverse of the buckle is unmarked. It is identical to the example which is shown in the Bob Evans' book, page 112. The finish on this buckle remains at about 98%. A good example.
Near Mint (22449) $95.00

BELTS - 062 - ARMY ENLISTED MAN'S FIELD GRAY BUCKLE

This rectangular shaped steel-based buckle has a field gray green painted finish. The finish shows age but is still mostly there, rating about 95%. The center area has double roped edge circles which include overlapping oak leaves at the bottom and the slogan, " Gott Mit Uns", at the top, raised out. In the center, is a raised out Wehrmacht army closed winged eagle which grasps a mobile swastika. This steel buckle is marked on the reverse, "JFS".
Excellent Plus (22452) $95.00

BELTS - 063 - 23131 - LUFTWAFFE EM BELT AND BUCKLE

This belt is a black color on the outside and a slightly brown color on the inside. It is in good condition throughout showing some age and usage. The aluminum keeper section on one end is, "OLC marked". The buckle is a fine pebbled aluminum rectangular shape. The pebbling is still fairly crisp and the center area has a raised out wreath of overlapping oak leaves with beads. Inside is more pebbling with a vaulted eagle which flies to the right clutching a swastika. This buckle shows very little wear and is unmarked. A fine example here. Excellent Plus $140.00

BELTS - 064 - HITLER YOUTH BUCKLE

This rectangular shaped buckle is a steel base having bright nickel-plated surfaces. The nickel is beginning to wear at the left side and has flaked off a little bit at the right side. It also shows wear around the center area of the raised out section. All in all, the nickeling is about 75%. The center of this buckle features double roped circles having ribbed inside design. Raised out of the upper portion of the circles is the Hitler Youth slogan, "Blut Und Ehre". Below, is the Hitler Youth eagle which clutches a diamond shaped insignia having a swastika raised out in the center. The reverse of this buckle is marked, "A", "A&S", "Ges. Gesch." and a single RZM circle over the number "17". Lots of marks here!
Excellent (22448) $95.00

BELTS - 065 - RLB ENLISTED MAN SECOND PATTERN BUCKLE

This rectangular buckle is all stamped steel having a dark gray field finish. The center of the buckle has a pressed out set of wings which surround a banner stating, "Luftschutz". Beneath is a raised out mobile swastika. The detail to the feathering in the wings, as well as other areas, is extraordinary. This buckle is marked, "42", under the roll bar. It is identical to the example shown in the Angolia New Buckle Book on page 358, upper. This buckle is in choice condition throughout.
Mint (22422) $325.00

BELTS - 066 - 26823 – EARLY LUFTWAFFE ALUMINIUM ENLISTED MAN’S BUCKLE WITH LEATHER TAB

This early Luftwaffe enlisted man’s buckle is of all aluminum rectangular construction. It has pebbled surfaces and depicts an early droop-tail eagle in the center area. Around the eagle is a wreath of laurel leaves which has good pebbled finish to the laurel leaves and also still has the berries. The raised area in the center depicts a droop-tail eagle clutching a swastika. This bird looks to be the same as the example shown in the Angolia book on Page 133, upper. However, the reverse of the buckle appears to be the molded type, the same as shown on Page 134, bottom. The Luftwaffe droop-tail eagle shows some wear to the surface details, but the feathering still remains in the wings and all of the shapes are still there. Attached to the buckle is the original leather tab. This tab shows some age, but is still in fairly good condition. It is possible to see the stamping, which is a double ellipse, having the name of the producer and also the city name of “Ludenscheid”. In the center of the ellipse is stamped the year the buckle was produced “1936". On the reverse area of the leather tab there is a stamping “lp. This is a fine, early Luftwaffe buckle which definitely shows wartime usage, but it is all there and quite rare to see. Excellent. $195.00

BELTS - 067 - 26786 - LUFTWAFFE ENLISTED MAN’S BUCKLE WITH LEATHER TAB

This Luftwaffe enlisted man’s buckle is the standard rectangular shape and it is of steel base construction. It does not seem to have much pebbling left in the surfaces, but there may have been more there when it was new. The buckle appears to be the same as the example shown in the Angolia book on Page 144, upper. It depicts an ellipse which has a raised out wreath of laurel leaves with berries. In the center is a vaulted Luftwaffe eagle which flies to the viewer’s right. This eagle clutches a mobile swastika in its talons. There is only minor traces of paint remaining on the surfaces and looking at the reverse of the buckle, there is slightly more paint. It appears to be an olive drab color, indicating that this buckle most likely was a tropical issue. It is also stamped on the edge of the buckle “SO1940". Attached to the buckle is the original tab. This tab is stamped with the maker name and date “Schmidt & Oom”, then the town “Merden 1941". The leather shows age and usage, but is still serviceable. A good buckle here, in good, collectible condition.Excellent. $175.00

BELTS - 069 - 26373C - ARMY DENAZIFIED BELT AND BUCKLE

The buckle of this Army belt example has been de-nazified. The belt itself, though, is in excellent condition, having good black outside leather with brown inside area. The keeper is in good shape, and this belt easily rates at excellent plus plus. The buckle is the rectangular type which has a steel base and remnants of an original field green paint in the recesses as well as on the reverse of the buckle. The buckle itself is stamped on the reverse “ORF & Company” “1940". The obverse of the belt has the double circular rope-like stampings which have the motto “Gott Mit Uns” in the center area. At the bottom is an oak leaf wreath. The closed winged eagle, which normally clutches a swastika, has been mostly ground out from the center. A little bit of the swastika still remains, as does the head and the tips of the closed wings of this Wehrmacht eagle. It is a shame that someone did this, but, nevertheless, the belt is still in excellent condition, so, if you wanted to buy another buckle as a replacement, keeping the original with the rigging for authenticity, it couldn’t hurt a bit. Excellent leather belt here.Excellent. $125.00

BELTS - 071 - 26852 - LUFTWAFFE ENLISTED MAN’S BELT AND BUCKLE

The belt of this Luftwaffe example is a black leather outside with brown leather inside. The leather is in good condition throughout and has the original keeper in place. This belt is equipped with an enlisted man’s Luftwaffe rectangular shaped buckle. The buckle is a molded aluminum style and it has pebbled surfaces throughout. There is an ellipse shaped wreath raised out of the center which features overlapping laurel leaves with berries. In the center of the ellipse is a raised out Luftwaffe eagle which flies to the viewer’s right and clutches a mobile swastika in his talons. The detail is still fairly nice to the bird, showing only mild wear to the head, breast feathering and a little bit of the claw area. A good, sound rig here. Excellent Plus. $225.00

BELTS - 072 - 27084C - IMPERIAL ARMY BUCKLE WITH SMALL COLONIAL BANNER

This Imperial buckle is in outstanding condition throughout. It is a rectangular enlisted man’s shape and is formed of a high quality brass base. In the center is a raised out nickeled portion which is circular. There are two circles which trap the raised out slogan “Gott mit Uns”. Below the slogan is a half wreath of laurel leaves. In the center is a Prussian crown with cross on the top. The crown is very nicely detailed. This buckle looks identical to the one that is shown on Page 64 of the Angolia belt book. Accompanying this buckle is a small little banner measuring 5½” x 3 ½”. It is double sided and depicts the German Colonial flag. The flag is shown in red, brown and white, having a Prussian eagle in the center. Beneath the flag is written “German West Afrikan Col.”. This buckle may or may not have come with this little flag, but this is the way that I received it. A nice example here with a rarely seen reference to the German colonies. We do not see many things from this period, as they were quite rare. Excellent. $250.00

BELTS - 073 - 26952 - LUFTWAFFE EM BUCKLE

This Luftwaffe enlisted man’s buckle is the standard rectangular shape and it is composed of aluminum, having a pebbled finish. The pebbling is excellent throughout and there is an oval wreath of raised out laurel leaves with berries. The wreath still remains very crisp. In the center is a raised out eagle which flies to the viewer’s right carrying a mobile swastika. The details are all there to this bird. Although this buckle is ummarked, it looks the same as the example shown in Angolia on Page 136, center, except my buckle is in much better condition than the book example. A very fine piece here.Near Mint. $195.00

BELTS - 074 - 27228 - Army Buckle with Belt

The paint on this buckle is the field gray color, and it is in outstanding condition rating at about 95%, only worn on the high points. The rectangular buckle depicts two round roped circles in the center. The circles trap the slogan, "Gott mit uns". Beneath is a wreath of oak leaves. In the center is pressed out a Wehrmacht closed winged eagle, which looks to the viewer's right. This eagle clutches a mobile swastika in its claws. Most of the paint is worn from the high points of the eagle. This fine buckle is marked on the reverse, "Robo". It appears to be very similar to the buckle shown at the bottom of page 78, in the Angola book. A fine belt and buckle here.
