A nice original buckle here.

Excellent. $175.00

B&B #46251C Hitler Youth Leader Brocade Belt

This Hitler Youth brocade belt is quite a rare item to find. It is made with an aluminum brocade which features two black lines that run through the center of the brocade.

On this example the black portion of the lines has worn in some areas. It might be possible to recolor those areas should the next owner wish to tackle this job as it would greatly improve the looks of the belt.

There are two slides on the belt and they are also aluminum brocade with twin black lines. The black lines are in good condition here.

The inside of the belt is lined with a cotton canvas like material and remains in perfect condition. There is also a leather tab which attaches to the officer's buckle.

The swastika has been blackened. The buckle shows minor wear to the center area but is basically all there.

This buckle also has a leather tab attached and the tab is stamped "8. FL BETZ" over II L / ST. I may not be looking at this totally properly but it seems to connect to a DLV unit. The tab is also marked LV7 at the end of it.

A pretty rare rigging here and should be of interest to belt and buckle collectors.

Excellent Plus Plus. $495.00

B&B #46048C Unusual Police Brocade Belt with Army Officer Buckle

This brocade belt is a mystery to me but it appears original in all ways. The brocade belt is fitted with a standard army officer round aluminum two piece buckle. The details is outstanding to the buckle with its round wreath of overlapping oak leaves and vaulted center area Wehrmacht closed wing eagle with swastika. The buckle is unmarked.

The brocade belt to which it is attached has the standard aluminum type brocade used for police with lines running throughout of two black lines on the outside and a red line in the center. In addition the two slides that are on the buckles are of textured bullion having no color to them. They do not appear to be police style slides or army slides.

The interior is covered in a green felt material which is in perfect condition and is fitted with a fine brown leather strap which is also in mint condition.

I do not know the purpose of this particular belt and buckle but it appears to be some type of an army feldgendarmerie police style? You guys that special in these belts perhaps would know the answer. At any rate it is very unusual and original.

Near Mint. $695.00

B&B #45776 Imperial Naval Officer’s Brocade Belt

The buckle is a very large brass round example having raised laurel leaves and berries which extend around the exterior. In the center is a fouled naval anchor with an imperial crown above it and superimposed on the anchor is a W which appears to be riveted in place.

This Sword Belt is of red webbing trimmed in brown leather. I am not sure what particular branch of service wore this belt, but perhaps it is red to denote an Artillery Officer.

It is interesting to note that the inside of the belt has an eight inch long leather trim strap, the purpose of which eludes me.

The belt is equipped with a stationary sword clip constructed out of brass and has a closed double opening. The buckle is a good brass example, and the leather tab is in good condition.

Excellent Plus. $75.00

B&B #37038 Mining Official's Brown Belt with Extra Large Brass Buckle

This brown belt is still in fine condition throughout, and I do not see any markings on it.

The buckle is most unusual in that it is about 1/3 again as large as a normal buckle. It is constructed with a fine brass base with an applied set of mining hammers in the center. This is the first time I have seen a belt buckle like this one. The catch on leather belt is also of matching brass.

This, I believe, is quite a rare item and is certainly impressive.

Excellent Plus. $350.00

B&B #35947C Weimar Period Army Buckle

This Army Buckle dates from the turbulent Weimar period, and wasmost likely worn over to the Third Reich time. It is of all solid nickel construction. The buckle is rectangular and is finished in a pebbled surface.

In the center there is a raised out area consisting of two rope-like borders which at the bottom features a half wreath of laurel leaves with berries and at the top has the slogan of the time, “Gott Mit Uns”. In the middle of the buckle is a further raised out depiction of the Weimar style eagle. This bird looks to the left and has its wings in a half open position. The buckle is unmarked on the back and shows good detail with very little wear.

B&B #28149 American Naval Belt Buckle and Sword Hanger Eyelets

This buckle and belt assembly appears to be of American Naval vintage, but I am not totally sure of this. The belt is a dark brown example, having dual rows of stitching in the center for strength. The belt has flaps that protect the uniform from brass eyelets made to carry the sword. There are two eyelets, one having a hook for regain wear of the sword.

The brass buckle is of round design, having overlapping oak leaves running throughout its border. At every quadrant there are crossed ribbons. There is a raised out area in the center, bordered by a rope design. The center area appears to show an American eagle holding an anchor in its talons. There are no markings on the belt or buckle.

A great rigging here if you have an early American Naval sword. The belt looks like it comes from maybe about 1900.

Excellent Plus $195.00

B&B #31816 RAD Enlisted Man’s Buckle

This RAD Enlisted Man’s Buckle is a rectangular shape and is made of molded aluminum construction. It features a pebbled finish throughout. In the center area it is pressed out with double circles and in between the circles it is lined and has several wheat shafts. In the middle three is a beaded border and a shovel with a superimposed swastika is in the center. The area around the shovel is lightly pebbled. There are no markings on the reverse of this buckle. The buckle shows a little overall wear but not bad.

Excellent Plus. $195.00

B&B #32917C Imperial Army NCO Buckle

This Army Buckle is all of brass construction, being a one-piece pressed out unit. The edges of the buckle are smooth as well as the surface areas except in the center, where there is a pressed out double circular area separated by rope-like motif. Between the two ropes there is fluting and below there is a wreath of laurel leaves. At the top is the raised out slogan of the German Army “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center area between the inner rope is a raised out Prussian crown.

This buckle shows some wear throughout, but, overall, all details are in good condition.

B&B #33152 Army NCO's Buckle

This aluminum buckle has a pebbled finish and it is the style that was painted an olive drab color. About 10% - 15% of the original olive drab paint is still in the recesses throughout the buckle’s surfaces. On the reverse, there is much more paint – probably about 50%.

This buckle shows some wear across the surfaces, which are pebbled. It features the two circles of rope motif fluted at the upper area and at the lower area features a wreath of oak leaves. The upper area has the raised out army motto “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center is a vaulted Wehrmacht eagle. The eagle faces to the viewer’s right and clutches a swastika in his talons. There is wear to the bird’s head, breast feathering and also slightly to the wings and some wear to the swastika, but it is still all there.

This is a molded aluminum style buckle.

Excellent. $150.00

B&B #31446 Imperial Army Belt Buckle

This imperial army buckle is an enlisted man’s type being rectangular shaped and made of a brass base. It has a separate nickel round section which is applied and soldered from beneath. The rounded section has double rope raised images and in between there is a half wreath of oak leaves and at the top the slogan, “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center of the nickel portion is a Bavarian style crown. There is one tiny little ding to the center of the crown. This buckle comes with its original brown leather tab.

Excellent Plus. $165.00

B&B #30731 Army Enlisted Man's Buckle with Leather Tab

This rectangular shaped steel buckle still has much of the original green paint on the finish. It appears to be at about 70-75% on the obverse and about 85-90% on the reverse. The buckle has the usual circular rope pressed out designs which trap a wreath of oak leaves at the bottom half of the circle and at the top has the raised out motto, “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center there is a raised out Wehrmacht half closed winged eagle which faces to the viewer’s right. The eagle grasps a mobile swastika in its talons. There is good detail remaining throughout this bird.

The reverse of the buckle if you look very closely has the maker marking appearing to be “IKA40”. Attached to the buckle is the original leather tab. This tab shows age and usage but it is still in good condition.

A fine, “talks to you” relic here.

Excellent Plus. $175.00

B&B #30609C Army Belt Buckle

This enlisted man’s aluminum buckle is made of two piece construction.

The rectangular shape has the standard pebbled finish. The two roped lines are part of a separate piece which is held to the buckle base by a set of four tabs. The ropes contain an oak leaf and acorn wreath at the bottom and the top is the slogan, “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center is a Wehrmacht style eagle which looks to the viewer’s right. The bird shows only a little mild wear on the breast feathering but the rest is still in pretty good shape. There is a small pressed in area directly in the center but this could be fixed if someone wanted to take off the tabs and push it out again. It is not bad.

This type of buckle is a little harder to find than the other varieties.

Excellent. $225.00

B&B #30608C Army Belt Buckle

This rectangular shaped army belt buckle is of steel base. It has excellent original olive drab green paint on the obverse. This paint rates at about 85%. There is some wear to the paint on the high points but this is to be expected. The center area of the buckle has the ropelike circles which contain the oak leaf wreath with acorns at the bottom and at the to is the slogan, “Gott Mit Uns”. In the center is a vaulted Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika. There is some wear to this bird around the breast area and a little bit of the head area. The reverse of this buckle has nearly all of the original olive drab paint.
