AUXILIARYMEDALS #39984C Large Frauenschaft Badge

This Frauenschaft Badge is larger than the usual ones we see. The badge features a black and white enameled surface with the longest part of the triangle shape pointing downward.

Across the upper portion is the abbreviated name of the organization, “Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft”. There is a white cross running through a black enamel center. In the center of the white cross is a red immobile enamel swastika. On either side of the swastika respectively are the initials “F” and “H”. At the bottom is the letter “S”.

The reverse has the usual safety pin and is marked "Gesch Gesch".

AUXILIARYMEDALS #38908C Enamel RAD Badge

This RAD Badge is a fairly good size and is not something we see too often. It looks to be of some kind of gray metal with an enamel space on the front. The edges are red, the center white, and the swastika in the usual black. The spade sits over a a pair of wheat stalks.

The reverse of the back has a sturdy barrel hinge and a tapered pin. The catch is soldered directly to the medal. It is marked “Gesch Gesch” and “W.D”.

A fairly uncommon RAD Badge here.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #38550C Frauenhilfdienst Pin

This large enamel pin is about the silver of a US silver dollar. The center is layered in black enamel and has a silver Life rune topped with a swastika. Around the edges, in silver, we see “Deutscher Frauenhilfdienst”.

The reverse of the badge is marked “Ges Gesch” and “A. Stubb, Berlin”.

This is not a commonly see pin these days.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #38549 Deutschesfrauenwerk Pin

This triangular pin is coated in black enamel. It has a silver Life rune topped with a silver sunwheel swastika. At the very top of the pin we see the words “Deutschesfrauenwerk”. There is some minor age to the surfaces by the enamel is still intact.

The reverse of the pin is marked “RZM 1/154”. There is an attached vertical safety pin.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #38543C DAF Staff Member Badge

This DAF Staff Member Badge is triangular in shape and has an enameled surface. The edges are in blue and the center is black. The enamel throughout is in good condition, showing only normal wear.

In the center is a silver DAF gear wheel with a central swastika.

On the reverse is an attached safety pin, as well as the marking “RZM M1/102”.

This NSKOV Merit Badge is in a diamond shape and is fairly large. It is an enameled piece. The piece is bordered in red and has a fine looking NSKOV insignia in the center.

The reverse of the badge is marked “JT” and has an attached straight pin.

Not a commonly seen item here, and in very fine condition.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #37218 RAD wJ Silver Retirement Badge

This elliptical badge is quite interesting looking, having raised coils of rope-like designs that run around the outside. Bordered by two rings on the inside is a mobile swastika resting over two stalks of wheat. This badge was given to women to commemorate their retirement from the RAD wJ.

The reverse of the badge has a barrel hinge with a straight pin and a built in hinge spring. The catch is part of the pin itself.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #37219 RAD wJ Rank Brooch

This female RAD Rank Brooch is circular and is quite large and about 1½ “. The outside border of the badge is smooth, while the inside area has a pebbled surface. Raised out in the center is a mobile swastika positioned over a pair of wheat stalks.

On the reverse of the badge is a safety pin style closure. It is marked “A39” and also has an RAD triangle.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #35186 2nd Class RLB Medal with Ribbon and Associated Documentation

This grouping consists of an RLB Medal, which is the style being about the size of a fifty cent piece. The medal is of gray color, having a border of oak leaves surrounding it. In the center is a raised out, mobile swastika, with the purpose of the medal around the swastika: "FUR VERDIENSTE IN LUFTSCHUTZ". On the opposite side, the medal is the same, except the center portion has the raised date of "1938".

Attached to the ring at the top is the original ribbon. This ribbon is of satin, and is purple in the center, with edges of red, white, and black. A fine example. Accompanying the medal are two RLB documents, which are made out to the recipient "FRL. ELFREIDE SCHAFFT". An interesting grouping here, all coming from the same individual.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #35221 NSKK Dog Tag

This NSKK Dog Tag does show some wear commensurate with its age and function throughout, but the stamping is still clear and the identification markings completely legible.

The dog tag has been marked on both sides "NSKK 1 Brigade L/5416" and has the characteristic "perforated" area in the center that allows the tag to be split into two sections.

A good item to display with a collection or grouping of NSKK militaria.

Below is a black triangular featuring a large life rune. Above the rune is a sunwheel swastika. The enameling is perfect throughout this depiction and the silver shows some swipe patination.

The reverse of the badge has a safety like pin and has raised out “RZM M 1-13”.

A good looking badge here that was worn by female members of the SS who helped solicit funds for the organization.

This Deutsches Frauenwerk Pin is the larger size. It has perfect black enamel in the surfaces and the silvering is still all there showing some minor age. Written at the top in Gothic script is the purpose of the medal, “Deutsches Frauenwerk”. Below is a sunwheel swastika and the runic symbol for life which looks similar to a capital letter “Y”.

The reverse of the pin has a safety pin style catch and it is marked, “RZM M1 / 105”.

A good example here of the Nazi Party’s female donation raising group.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #30973 Deutsches Frauenwerk Badge

This is the large style Deutsches Frauenwerk badge which as you all know was the organization formed with woman who collected money for Party purposes. The badge is triangular shape having a silver border. The organization name, “Deutsches Frauenwerk” appears in red Gothic print at the top. Below this is a silvered sunwheel swastika which is placed over a life rune. The life rune looks like a “Y” letter with a long stem in the center. The black enamel is in perfect condition on this triangle.

The reverse of the badge has a raised RZM and the code ”M 1/105”.

It has a safety pin style catch and this is the larger type badge.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #30972 Deutsches Frauenwerk Badge

This Deutsches Frauenwerk badge is the larger type but it must have been made later in the period as instead of black enamel it has a black painted background. The top and border have the usual silver backing and in red is the name of the organization, “Deutsches Frauenwerk”. Beneath this is a silver sunwheel swastika positioned over a life runic symbol.

The reverse of the badge has a double circle around an RZM and the maker code, “1/185”. The catch is a standard safety pin type.

AUXILIARYMEDALS #30481C NS Frauenschaft Pin

This triangular shaped zns Frauenschaft Pin is a good looking item, and something not seen too frequently. The Frauenschaft Organization collected money for the Nazi Political Party and it was a women’s organization. This pin is triangular shaped and has black enamel surfaces which cover most of the pin. Centered on the black enamel is a silver sunwheel swastika, and below this is the runic symbol for life. It looks like a “Y” letter. At the top of the pin is written in red on the silver background, “NS Frauenschaft”.

On the reverse the pin is RZM marked “1/128”. It has a safety-pin type device on the reverse.

This Large Sized Frauenschaft Pin is about twice the size of the normal ones that you see. It is about 1½ inches in diameter. Everything else is the same as a normal pin, however. The black enamel on this pin is in perfect condition, and it features a sunwheel swastika positioned over a life runic symbol. At the top, written red across a silver background, is “Deutsches Frauenwerk”. The reverse of the pin has a raised RZM “M1/105”.

There is a safety-pin style catch on the reverse.

A rarely seen pin here.

This Luftsport Donation Pin is about the size of a quarter. It has an aluminum backing with a center insert that appears to be amber material. The amber material is pinned into the center of the aluminum backing.

In the middle of the aluminum is a small metal replica of a glider plane. Around the rim, pressed out of the aluminum are the words, "Luftsport hilft Deutschland”.

These badges were apparently given to people who made a donation to the German DLV.

This WG Badge was worn by members of the Third Reich who were civilians and traveled with the railway system, but went out of the country. The badge is a bronze colored pierced circular shape having an eagle’s head looking to the left at the top with the initials, “WG” on either side of the eagle’s breast. At the lower portion of the badge, in between the initials, is a mobile swastika. The reverse of the badge has a horizontal safety pin style catch. The badge has the raised out maker marks of Otto Placzek and also C.E. Juncker, both of Berlin.

A great looking badge here that is not seen very often. These were the same civilian that would have worn the white armband which states in German in black letters, “In service of the Wehrmacht”. This badge can be seen in the Angolia Traditions Book, Volume II, on page 158.
