This Hitler Youth armband is the darker color red style, unlike the most common type we see. This darker color was apparently made by a different manufacturer, thus the deeper red colors. The armband is of all cotton construction, being of deep red color with a white sewn stripe in the center. The white stripe has a little bit of minor yellowing to its surfaces here and there, but it is nothing. The armband is still in choice, crisp condition. In the center is a diamond shape field which is separately sewn to the cotton. In a bevo weave style, there is a black mobile swastika sewn to the white diamond shaped field. This would make for three-piece construction on this armband. There is virtually no wear, just a little bit of age. This is a fine example. Excellent Plus. $150.00

ARM - 108 - FIRE OFFICIAL'S ARMBAND

This armband is slightly narrower than the norm, measuring just a little over 3-inches in width. It is made of a striped style material having distinct ribbing. It is a deep blue color. The center area has a large "V" style letter which is sewn to the blue fabric and it is a deep red color. Centered within the "V" letter is a nickel set of crossed axes with a fireman's helmet laid over the center area. The nickeling to this insignia has patinated nicely. This is a rare armband which may come from the Imperial period. A great thing to display with an appropriate Fire Official's axe or long style dirk. Rarely seen armband.

ARM - 111 - 25227 – EARLY SS WOOLEN ARMBAND WITH CLOTH TAG

This early SS armband is produced of all wool, and the red color is still nice and bright. There are a number of small moth holes in this armband, but most of them are in the two folded back sections, and they are so small, that when the armband is in a closed position, none of them show. The armband is, of course, trimmed with the ribbed black satin stripes on both edges. In the center is an oblong shape , white ribbed field. This field has quite a bit of dirt and age across it surfaces but, if anything, it gives a look of realism. Sewn to the white satin field is a mobile swastika of ribbed black satin. This is a great armband just to display, as it certainly has the look of the period. The reverse of the armband has the original small, rectangular black and silver cloth tag. This tag has a fraction style number “630” over “36”. Flanking the number, is a double circle with “RZM” and another with “SS Runes”. It can be assumed that, “36”, would have been the date this armband was produced. A good looking original here, and armbands with intact tags are always desirable. Excellent $595.00(#050808)

ARM - 112 - 25228 – SS WOOLEN ARMBAND

This JS armband has outstanding red wool. It is perfect except for a moth hole in the area exactly at the bottom where the armband folds. The moth track is through the black ribbed satin decorative line at the bottom. This one hole, though, does not show from the front. Looking at the armband from the frontal view, it is totally perfect and in a mint state. The original red color is nice and bright and, as mentioned, the armband has the two black ribbed stripes decorating both of the borders. In the center is a ribbed round field which is in a very clean state, showing little to no age. Sewn to the field is a black ribbed satin mobile swastika. Once again, this is an outstanding armband which other than the one moth track, is in Full Mint condition. An outstanding display example here.
