ACCOU #30872 Early High Quality Army Officer Hangers
This set of army officer hangers are produced of highest quality. Obverse brocade is in choice condition throughout. The reverse high pile velvet shows only modest wear along the edges. The straps are retained via rarely seen leather sewn tops. The leather is a brown color. The hardware on this example is quality nickel base. The silvering has held up quite good and the oval buckles, slides and push-in style pebbled lower snaps have about 85% of the silvering. This is an outstanding set of hangers to mate up with an early army officer dagger.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $225.00
ACCOU #30870 Early High Quality Army Officer Hangers
This set of army officer’s hangers are about the highest quality you will see. The brocade fronts are still clean with good texture to the fabric. The reverse high pile velvet shows some wear to the tops but there is really no fraying. The upper box clip is a silvered brass type having oak leaf sprigs spread throughout its surfaces. It is “DRGM” marked at the top. Connected to the top clip is a rarely seen set of metal tabs which retain the two straps. These tabs are decorated on the obverse side with oak leaves and acorns which are stamped into the surface. There are two rivets which hold the straps. The oval buckles and slides are the brass type and they also are a high quality. They retain about 85-90% of the original silvering. The lower snaps are the highest quality you are likely to see. They have oak leaves and acorns which run the length of the surfaces and there are smooth points between the leaves which are different from any other hangers and are easily recognizable. I have only had a few sets of hangers in the past forty years that have this deluxe feature. These snaps have about 80% of the silvering. A very fine set of hanging straps here that would go great with a presented etched blade or Damascus blade example.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $250.00
ACCOU #30871 Army Officer Hangers
This set of army officer hangers has very fine crisp brocade straps. The reverse high pile velvet is also all there showing no wear. The upper box clip is the smooth closed type. This is a very fine conditioned set of army officer hangers appearing to have been worn only a few times.
Near Mint. $225.00
ACCOU #30717 Luftwaffe Officer's Hangers with Leather Tops
This set of Luftwaffe officer’s hangers are quite rare as the leather tab retainage method was not used very often. The brocade straps are in excellent condition on the obverse having good blue / purple color. The reverse is the type without the velvet just having a textured material. This is an indication of late made straps. These straps are retained via gray leather tabs which are in turn held in place by aluminum rivets. The upper snap clip is a plain example having a cast marking on the reverse, “DRGM”. The buckles are the bright toned silver rectangular type with matching slides. The push-in style pebbled snaps below are the type with rectangular tops. A very nice rarely seen variation of Luftwaffe officer hangers.
Excellent Plus. $250.00
ACCOU #5637 Early RAD Hewer Hanger
This early RAD hewer hanger is the first type that was used with a fold over bottom with buckle and hasp. This hanger is of black leather and it has a retainer loop which is of brown leather showing some minor age but still serviceable. If you have an early hewer with a 1933-35 vintage trademark this is the type of hanger that was initially worn with it. A fairly difficult accoutrement to find these days. This one is also in good condition showing minor wear at the bottom fold area but still good and serviceable.
Excellent Plus. $395.00
ACCOU #30564 Red Cross Officer Hangers
This set of Red Cross officer hangers are quite long measuring nearly 12-inches. They are equipped with gray brocade straps which have a dual set of bullion stripes running the length. The stripes are highlighted with red accent thread. These straps have a couple of rust spots on them and the reverse shows only the most nominal of wear. The upper snap clip is a satin aluminum type having smooth surfaces. The oval buckles and slides also are smooth surfaces matching the snap clip. The lower snaps match the satin aluminum tone and they are the push-in style with pebbled finish. A good set of Red Cross hangers here which would compliment a dagger in excellent to excellent plus condition.
Excellent Plus. $595.00(#072610)
ACCOU #30864 Short Teardrop Hanger for Army Dagger
This brown leather teardrop hanger has a built-in belt loop and it is only about 5-inches in length. At the bottom of the belt loop there is a teardrop and a dog leash style nickel-plated snap clip. The belt loop has the stamping of an “X” with dots in the four spaces which seems to be uniform for leather accoutrements. It is a fine tan color leather and on the reverse the teardrop is pebbled being the same color brown. This type of teardrop would have been worn beneath a tunic from a narrow belt and then the army hanging straps could be attached to the snap clip by feeding them through the slit in the tunic below the pocket flap. A very nice accoutrement here and a useful item if you are outfitting a tunic.
Excellent Plus. $95.00
ACCOU #30484 RAD Hewer Bullet Hanger with Brigade Markings
This bullet hanger is complete with the belt loop assembly which is held via a wire style hardware. The obverse is equipped with a heavy nickel-plated snap clip which is stamped on the reverse with the RAD triangle and the year it was produced, “37”. Additionally it is stamped with a large “A” and the maker “A&S”. The reverse area of the lower bullet area is marked, “B.A.Br. 4 38”. Addtionally the hanger is maker marked, “TH. Seibod / Offenbach an. / 1938”. It is quite rare to see brigade markings on these RAD hangers and I believe it adds interest to a piece. This hanger shows some minor usage but overall it is in good condition.
Excellent Plus. $495.00
ACCOU #30817 RAD Hewer Bullet Hanger
This bullet hanger is in choice condition being the two-piece type with the belt loop held to the lower portion via a wire hardware connection. The obverse of the hanger is all done in black leather showing very little age. The reverse has a pleasing brown surface. The obverse is also complete with a heavy nickel-plated snap clip. This clip is dated on the reverse, “37” and stamped next to this is a maker mark within an ellipse, “H&Co.”. The reverse of the hanger is maker marked and also has probably a brigade stamping. It is marked “Otto Sindel / Berlin”. Beneath the maker marking is a separate numeral stamping, “238”. A very fine conditioned hanger here which would accommodate a near mint to mint RAD hewer.
Near Mint. $495.00
ACCOU #30866 RLB Officer Hangers
This set of RLB officer hangers measures overall about 10 ½-inches in length. The leather straps themselves have the four sets of stitching which runs through each strap. The straps show a little bit of minor age and usage but they are still quite sound. The straps are equipped with the standard style RLB hardware. The upper snap clip is the pebbled style and it is marked on the back, “DRGM” and “RZM M5/10”. The buckles are oval shaped and they have a series of overlapping oak leaves on their surfaces. The slides have a similar motif and most of the plating is worn from these slides as they have a brass appearance on the surface. The snaps are the deluxe push-up style having oak leaf decoration on the obverse and being “DRGM” marked on the reverse. A good set of straps here if you have an excellent plus to excellent plus, plus RLB officer dagger. These straps are getting very difficult to find anymore.
Excellent. $895.00(#072610)
ACCOU #30750 Enlisted Bayonet Troddel
This troddel has textured silk strapping of a dark green color. The stem and bottom of the ball are also matching green. The slide and the acorn cap are a light tan color which possibly may have been an off-white originally. The insert at the bottom of the ball matches the silk strapping. A very nice looking troddel here ready to complete your bayonet.
Excellent Plus. $95.00
ACCOU #30042 Eickhorn Control Tag
This Eickhorn control tag is a very desirable item for those out there with a Carl Eickhorn made dagger in choice condition. The addition of an Eickhorn control tag on a dagger in this state would really be the topping on the cake. The string of this tag still has its mostly gray color. Many times these strings turn brown with age and dirt. The control tag itself is a two-piece metal item which is of red color having silver backgrounds to the images which appear on either side. There is a slight ding on both sides of the control tag but it is not too bad. The obverse portrays the 1935-41 seated squirrel with sword pointing downward. Above the squirrel is the word “Original” and below “Eickhorn / Solingen / Ges. Gesch.”. The reverse of the metal portion has three words, “Eickhorn / Tradition / Qualität”. The slot at the bottom of the tag still has the original paper insertion. A good quality original Eickhorn tag here.
Excellent Plus. $695.00
ACCOU #30707 Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of army hangers has good bright brocade to the obverse straps. The reverse has fairly good pile to the velvet showing only modest wear. The upper horseshoe shaped mount is “DRGM” marked on the reverse and is decorated with oak leaf sprigs on the obverse. It contains two rivets, one of each retains each of the hanging straps. The oval buckles, slides and push-up style deluxe snaps show patination throughout but appear to still have the silver beneath. The snaps are “DRGM” marked. A good set of horseshoe straps here.

ACCOU #30881C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe top hangers is in nice condition throughout. The brocade straps are still bright on the fronts and show only mild wear to the reverse. The lower oval buckles still have excellent silvering and good detail to the oak leaves. The slides have a little less silvering and the deluxe style push-up snaps pretty much match the silvering of the ovals. The snaps are “DRGM” marked on the reverse. A nice set of horseshoe hangers here.

ACCOU #30880C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers

ACCOU #30879C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe hangers shows some age and overall wear but there is no fray or problems to the brocade. The reverse shows some smoothing to the velvet but there is no fraying. The horseshoe top fitting still has about 50% of the silvering and good detail to the two oak leaf sprigs. The clip is “DRGM” marked on the reverse. The oval buckles, slides and push-up deluxe snaps show some patination to the silvering and maybe 50% of the area is still bright. The reverse of the snaps are “DRGM” marked.
Excellent Plus. $215.00
ACCOU #30877C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers

This is a nice set of horseshoe straps.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $245.00
ACCOU #30875C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe topped hangers does show some overall age and some wear to the reverse with just a little bit of fraying along the brocade edges. The brocade itself though is still clean and looks nice from the front. The upper horseshoe clip has about 50% of the silvering left and the other portion is heavily patinated having the two rivets which retain the straps. The oval buckle, slides and deluxe push-up snaps have about the same amount of silvering but look to be in good condition. The snaps are “DRGM” marked on the reverse. A decent set of horseshoe hangers.
Excellent. $195.00
ACCOU #30878C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe topped hangers show some minor wear and age but are overall in good condition. The silvering to the horseshoe is about 75% and the lower oval buckles, slides and deluxe push-up snaps have probably a little more than that in silvering. The snaps are “DRGM” marked on the reverse. The brocade fronts still are mostly clean and present well. The reverse shows a little wear. A fairly good set of horseshoe hangers here.
Excellent Plus. $225.00
ACCOU #30874C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe topped hangers has excellent clean brocade obverse straps. The reverse velvet is also in good condition showing little wear. The horseshoe top has about 50% of the original silvering being “DRGM” marked on the reverse. There is a rivet in each side of this clip which retains the straps. The oval slides and deluxe style push-up snaps show a little bit of oxidation over the patination. I think there is still most of the silvering clinging underneath. A good set of horseshoe straps.
Excellent Plus. $215.00
ACCOU #30873C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers
This set of horseshoe hangers has pretty good silvered hardware throughout which looks to rate at about 85-90%. The lower right snap however is broken and needs to be replaced. If you are handy at this type of thing these hangers are a bargain. The brocade is still good on the obverse being bright and on the reverse there is some wear here and there. The upper horseshoe clip has the two rivets which retain the straps and the reverse is marked, “DRGM”.
Good. $95.00
ACCOU #30876C Army Officer's Horseshoe Topped Hangers

ACCOU #30443 TeNo Officers Brocade Hanging Straps
This set of hanging straps are quite long measuring over 11-inches at the right strap. They are the beautiful all black fronts having box like aluminum twin stripes which run the length. They show little to no wear. The backs are a black velvet also showing little to no wear. The top closed box clip is an aluminum style showing minor usage at the top bar caused by a snap clip. The TeNo buckles are the round type featuring gearwheel raised designs. They are not Assmann marked on the back as they were produced by another hardware company. The slides nicely match the darkening in the backgrounds of the cogwheels. The lower snaps are the rounded type having snaps which are the push-in type with a pebbled finish. These TeNo officer straps would really set off your example if it is in excellent plus, plus to mint condition. A very fine rare set of original TeNo officer hangers.
Mint Minus. $2,895.00
ACCOU #30444 Gold Government Official/Diplomatic High Leader Hangers
This set of gold diplomatic hangers is the first set I have seen that not only has gilded hardware but there is also gilded thread which forms the herring bone design in the brocade fronts. These brocade fronts are in choice condition having no breaks or any undue soiling. The reverse is a black color which would indicate these hangers were probably worn starting about 1939 and 1940. The straps are quite long measuring 11-inches overall. The snap clip at the top has gilded surfaces over an aluminum base. It shows minor wear in the areas where the clip would have been attached to a belt loop. The rest of the gilt is approximately 95%. The rectangular buckles and slides below are decorated with the standard oak leaf treatment and they too have nice gilding throughout their surfaces showing minor surface wear at the high points. All in all though the gilt is probably about 90-95%. The hasp pieces also are gilded. The snaps below are a push-in style with plain surfaces and square tops. These are also gilded showing wear at the push-in points and also at the hanging inside areas. Overall they are about 95% also. If you have a gold government official’s dagger by Carl Eickhorn I’m sure that these straps would work for you. If you have a diplomatic dagger by Alcoso they would also work for you. We know that high diplomatic and government official leaders wore the gilded hangers in many cases with silvered daggers. We also know the highest leaders such as Ribbentrop and others wore gold daggers as their has been a photograph from the Reich Chancellery that recently surfaced in color indicating that the daggers worn by these high officials were also gilded. So, if you want to invest in a quality set of original hangers these are nearly one of a kind.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $3,995.00
ACCOU #30049 RAD Two-Piece Bullet Hanger

The snap clip is a nickel-plated type and it is stamped on the reverse with a large “A” and beneath the letters “A&S” and on the other side of the buckle is the RAD triangle and “37” which is probably the date. The reverse of this leather is nicely stamped into the brown surfaces with the leather maker’s name as well as a brigade connotation. It is stamped, “H. SEIBOD / OFFENBACH A.M. / 1938”. On the lower portion of the leather is the brigade stamping, “B.A.Br. 438”. Leather RAD hangers with these stampings are always desirable. This one also has great condition.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $595.00
ACCOU #29785 Early Brown SA Vertical Hanger
This brown SA vertical hanger is of pre-RZM origin. It shows some usage and there is also a repair to the cross strap but overall it is in good condition and will go nicely on an early SA dagger. The brown leather is of coffin shape on the reverse and it has two rivet construction. The cross strap is in good condition and the buckle has a roller set up on it. The clip is a “dog leash” variety which shows some age but overall most of the plating is still there. A good vertical here which would really dress up an early SA Röhm or other cherished piece.
Excellent Plus. $495.00
ACCOU #20681 Early Army Officer's Hangers
This set of hanging straps is of early vintage and is in about the best condition you are likely to find. The brocade is nice and bright on the front having fine textured designs. The reverse velvet pile is in perfect unused condition. The hardware is the deluxe type. Usually most of the silvering comes off of these mounts because the base metal was pot metal. This is not the case here as nearly all the silvering is still intact, which is a rare sight indeed. The top box clip has the oak leaf decoration with DRGM stamped into the upper rim. The oval buckles and slides have fine leaf decoration and the lower snaps are the deluxe push-up type that have the oak leaf designs on their fronts. The reverse is DRGM marked. A very beautiful set of hangers here which would go great with a highly prized early army officer or possibly a piece with a dedication.
Mint Minus. $295.00
ACCOU #3048 General's (?) 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers
This set of 2nd model Luftwaffe officer’s hangers have a tremendous amount of gold covering on all of their hardware. Many of the Luftwaffe hangers do have a gold look to them which I have always believed was the lacquer turning color from age. Usually though when we see this it is hit and miss and is only on some of the mounts. On this set of hardware all of the mounts have a distinct gilded look to them. I do not know for sure whether they are general’s hangers but they certainly have a great look to them and they are priced accordingly. The mounts are the deluxe type featuring beautiful oak leaf design to the top snap clip with the “UE10” RZM marking on the reverse as well as “DRGM”. The buckles and slides have the oak leaf design and the lower snaps are the deluxe push-up type that have the oak leaf fronts. These snaps also “DRGM” marked on the reverse. The blue / purple brocade is the best you will see. It is in absolute perfect condition and it is sewn to a wider base purple velvet on the reverse. Really a beautiful set of mint conditioned straps here. Whether they are general’s or not they are in such a state that they easily justify a premium price. A very nice set of Luftwaffe hangers!
Mint. $495.00(#090110)
ACCOU #27109 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers
These Luftwaffe Officer’s hangers have the deluxe type hardware but as a further treatment the brocade straps are retained with leather at the tops. This is not seen very often and is in demand by some collectors. This set of straps is fairly short measuring only 10-inches in length. The brocade is still good on the front showing some age and the purple blue velvet on the back does show some wear to the edges but it does not show on the front. The leather tops are a blue color and they are shaped to a pointed area at the lower center and have stitches around the border. The top snap clip has oak leaf and acorn treatment and it is “DRGM” marked on the reverse as well as “RZM UE10” marked. The rectangular buckles and slides have the oak leaf motif and the lower snaps have the push-up style snap with oak leaf fronts. There are small amounts of gild like material where most likely the lacquer has turned yellow over the years. A rarely seen set of Luftwaffe hangers with leather tops.
Excellent Plus. $225.00
ACCOU #30343 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers
This set of Luftwaffe hangers has all deluxe fittings. The brocade straps are in fairly nice condition showing a little mild wear but still have nice bright blue purple coloring. The buckles and slides have the standard raised oak leaf motif and the lower snaps are the push-up deluxe type with oak leaves on the front marked “DRGM” on the reverse. A good set of quality hangers here measuring about 11 ½-inches in length.
Excellent Plus. $195.00
ACCOU #30407 Army Hangers with Metal Tops
This set of army straps is the type that we rarely see equipped with metal tops. These tabs are fold over style which are rivet held to the straps. The metal tabs are stamped on the obverse with an oak leaf design as well as “DRGM”. The upper box clip is the white metal zinc type. The oval buckles and slides are also the white zinc still having about 50% silvering around their oak leaves. The lower snaps are the pebble type with square top and the style that push in. These snaps also still have good silvering. The brocade fronts have good texturing and are still quite bright. The reverse green velvet shows little wear. A nice set of rarely seen straps here.
Excellent Plus. $225.00
ACCOU #24039 Army Hangers
This set of army hangers are exceptionally long measuring near 12-inches. They are equipped with the deluxe style mounts and they have a great look in that the buckles are located higher up than we normally see. This is probably due to the long length of these hangers. The upper box clip is the oak leaf type with “DRGM” on the top band. The oval buckles and slides have most of the silvering still there and good detail to the oak leaves. The deluxe style push up snaps have the oak leaf fronts and the backs are marked “DRGM”. These snaps still have most of the silvering. The brocade of the straps is still bright with good texture and showing only modest wear. The reverse velvet green straps show some wear along the edges but no fraying.
Excellent Plus. $150.00
ACCOU #30551 Army Horseshoe Hangers
These horseshoe top army straps are in good condition having a little bit of oxidation on the top of the first strap. The silver plating though throughout the fittings makes up for quite a bit. The horseshoe top still has all of its plating and it is decorated with raised out oak leaves and acorns. The reverse has a pebbled finish and has the “DRGM” markings at the top bar. The horseshoe bracket retains the straps via a rivet on each side. The oval buckles and slides have excellent silvering and good detail to the oak leaves. The deluxe style push-up snap clips have most of the silvering on the right example and the left example has a little bit of oxidation on the right side but not bad. These snaps are marked “DRGM” on the reverse. The obverse brocade shows some usage and some age and there are a couple of discolor markings about halfway down but nothing too bad. The reverse velvet shows also some wear and a little bit of fray up by the rivet area on the shorter strap. These straps though are priced accordingly.
Excellent Plus. $195.00
ACCOU #30414 Army Teardrop Hangers
This army teardrop hanger is made of brown leather and is approximately 7 ½-inches in length. The leather is in choice condition throughout and the reverse has been covered in a field gray felt. The felt is still all there. This teardrop hanger has an adjustable feature at the top with aluminum boss and leather retainer loop. There is a closed bracket at the top which would have hooked to a belt loop for the under the tunic connection. There is a new-like aluminum color sword style snap clip sewn to the front. A very nice sword hanger here and appears to be unissue.
Mint. $95.00
ACCOU #22568C RAD Officer Hangers
These RAD hangers have fine brown / tan leather throughout. They show some mild usage but no abuse and the leather is still very sound with nosigns of any rot. The reverse of these straps are covered in a grey velvet material. The right leg of the hanger is still perfect and the left leg has a little minor moth damage but it is not bad. These straps are retained with folded medal tabs at the top which are riveted. The tabs are attached to a closed box clip which has a pebble finish. The pebbling matches that of the square buckles and slides. The lower snaps are the deluxe push-up style having oak leaf raised out designs on the obverse. The reverse of these snaps is marked DRGM. This set of straps is identical to the ones shown on page 76 and 77 of Johnson I with the exception his piece has sewn leather tops whereas this example has the deluxe rarely seen fold over tabs. A very fine set of hangers which will go great with a choice RAD officer's dagger.

This canvas sword strap shows some mild soiling but it has no fraying or problems and it is complete with a buckle for adjustment. Attached at the end of the hanger is a leather tongue shaped accoutrement which has a nickel snap clip attached to it. The snap clip is in perfect condition and is not marked being nickel-plated. The leather backing tongue is also a nice fine brown color professionally stitched. This accoutrement was made to hold the wearer’s sword. The strap was worn over the shoulder and a frog was attached to the snap clip which retained the sword. A nice accoutrement here getting difficult to find.
Excellent Plus. $95.00
ACCOU #25580 Early RAD EM Hewer Hanger
This is the early style RAD Hewer hanger that was worn initially when the hewer was introduced in 1935. It is a brown leather construction having a buckle and hasp which would control the opening and closing of the hanger. The hanger was secured to the hewer, slipping over the “u” fitting, and the clasp and buckle closed accordingly. This hanger shows some usage, but the bottom securing area is still complete and is not worn through. A fine item for an early heavy nickel example.
Excellent. $295.00
ACCOU #29460C RAD Bullet Hanger
This bullet hanger is a good, long example that measures about 11-inches in full length. It is the type that has the belt loop connected to the lower section via a thick wire bracket. The black leather has good sturdy stitches holding this example together. The lower portion has the black colored bullet shaped leather which protects the wearer’s uniform from the swing of the heavy hewer. There is also a good nickel-plated snap clip which is marked on the reverse in an ellipse “H & Co” and “37”. The reverse of the hanger has brown leather on the lower section. It is maker marked stamped into the leather, “Kern Kläger & Co 1938 Berlin”. In addition, in black rubber stamping is the unit marking of this RAD wearer’s section, “3/386”. The hardware is the aluminum plated type. The upper closed clip is stamped with a capital letter, “A” on the reverse. The rectangular buckles and slides have pebbled surfaces as do the push-in style snap clips at the lower area. These snap clips are the style which have rounded upper areas. A fine set of RAD hangers here that you can trust will last for many years into the future.
Near Mint. $795.00
ACCOU #29463C Army General Hanging Straps
This set of Army hangers shows some age and some wear but they appear to be definitely a set of army general’s straps. The hardware throughout has about 50% of the original gilt still clinging to the surfaces. The bullion shows minor wear age and soiling but for the most part here is no fray. The velvet on the reverse is also in fairly good condition with no wear through. This set of straps would go nicely with an early dagger showing some wear and also having good quality. These General’s straps are priced reasonably.
Excellent Minus. $225.00
ACCOU #29467C TeNo Officer Brocade Hangers
This set of TeNo officer brocade hangers measures about 10-inches overall in length. Looking at the reverse of the straps I can see where they have been shortened by about an inch. Where the straps are turned over at the back they also have been period stitched so that they are properly secured. The straps were worn this way as the other folds are permanently formed in place. This black brocade features twin sets of aluminum lines running the length. There is little to no wear on the obverse and the same is true to the reverse high pile black velvet. The clip at the top is an aluminum closed style. The buckles are around having the gear wheel surfaces that we see used for TeNo. The slides below have a slight darkening to them to match the factory blackening on the recesses of the buckles. The lower snaps are the push-in pebbled type and they show minor wear to the areas where they touch the dagger. This is an outstanding opportunity here to acquire an ultra rare set of teno brocade hangers. These straps will go nicely with a near mint to mint conditioned officer’s dagger.

ACCOU #28972C White Bayonet Frog
This bayonet frog appears to be the size that would be used for a butcher type bayonet or one with a larger proportioned scabbard. The frog has been coated with a white finish. Overall the leather is somewhat hard and could use a little bit of nurturing to soften it up. The frog very much resembles the size of a Red Cross hewer type. It is retained by four rivets which have also been whitened in the process. The reverse upper area has been stamped with the maker marking and date, “A. Fischer / Berlin C.2 / 1937”. These white finished bayonet frogs were used for honor guard duty such as the Feldhernhalle memorial, the honor temples or even guard duty at the Reich Chancellery. A rare accoutrement here.

ACCOU #28957C Wall Sword Bag
This sword bag is a desirable rust color and it measures 40-inches in length. It is in good shape throughout having a fine cloth wool enforcement border sewn throughout all of the edges. The top portion has the pinching shear configuration and it has a string which acts as a closure device. There are a couple of moth bites here and there but nothing severe. The lower area of one side has a splint in it but this could be very easily remedied. A nice looking wall sword bag here which you could use as a backdrop with a mint sword or if you like keep your own sword in the bag and preserve it accordingly. This is a very nice accoutrement that few people have in their collection.

This aluminum portepee is in pristine unissued condition still having its original tie string keeping it together. This portepee was put away by me in the early 90’s when I felt that I had an abundance of accoutrements and perhaps the day would come when they would be scarce. ACCOU #28645 Army Officer Hanger
This set of Army Officer Hangers has excellent deluxe hardware, but the straps themselves are mostly worn out. The brocade straps are still fairly good on the obverse, but on the reverse the velvet backing is fairly well frayed, with not much material left here. However, the hardware on these hangers would be excellent for someone who either wanted to restore this set, or possibly use the hardware on another set. This hardware is the silver plated deluxe type. The box clip at the top is the style with raised-out oak leaves, and has the patent marking “DRGM” stamped at the top. The straps are retained to the bracket via a set of aluminum style tabs that are bent over, and are both rivet held. Both of these tabs are marked with stamped oak leaf sprigs and acorns, and also the patent design “DRGM” is stamped into the upper portion of the tabs. The oval buckles and slides have good silvering, and depict the raised-out oak leaf style. The lower snaps are the deluxe push-up type, and they also have oak leaf sprigs on their obverse. The reverse of each one is stamped “DRGM”. A good set of straps here for parts.
Good Only. $100.00
ACCOU #28504 Police Portepee
This police portepee is the style with leather strapping having triple aluminum stitch wire running the length. The center wire is highlighted in red. This strapping, although it has been on a sword or police bayonet, is still in excellent condition with no fraying or problems. There is a slide of black weaved leather having aluminum and red highlights. The stem is the flat style having a crochet like covering which reveals the metal beneath. The ovaled ball has an aluminum thread like cap and lower area with the stuffing of black, white and red thread. This portepee is all set to go into your police officer sword or police bayonet.
Excellent Plus. $195.00
ACCOU #28506 Unissued Wide Police Portepee
This unissued police portepee with wide strapping still has the dual tie strings around the strapping. The strapping is the black leather type and it is decorated with three distinct rings of aluminum stitching. The center is highlighted in red. The stem is the black leather weave type having accents of red bullion stitching. The flat style stem is the crochet variety revealing the metal beneath in the holes. The oval ball is composed of thread like bullion at the cap and lower area. The stuffing is of red, black and white thread. A fine example here which would nicely decorate a sword or bayonet.

ACCOU #19575 Early RAD EM Hewer Hanger
This early,
short-style, hanger is of all black leather construction. It is
the style with small strap equipped with oval buckle and hasp
to keep it closed. It shows quite a bit of usage at the fold over
point, but about half of the leather still remains. This will
work fine on your early Hewer, assuming you are not going to wear
it. The small black retainer loop is missing from this rig, but
does not effect the serviceability. It is identical to the one
shown in wear on page 36 of the Johnson Accouterment Book.
Excellent Plus. $295.00
ACCOU #4519 Army Sword Harness
This "under the tunic" army sword harness is complete with canvas strapping having an adjustable buckle and a leather frog accoutrement sewn to the harness. The frog is an hour glass shape and is equipped with a nickel-plated snap clip. The snap clip is riveted to the leather frog. The obverse of the frog is a rich brown color and the reverse of it is a green leather color. These harnesses were worn beneath a tunic in order to suspend a sword through the slit below the pocket flap.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $125.00
ACCOU #28507 "Under the Tunic" Sword Harness
This "under the tunic" sword harness is made of a soft cotton fabric having a texture to it. At the halfway point there is a brown leather loop with D ring sewn for which would be attached a sword teardrop hanger or perhaps some other hardware to adapt the D ring to the sword carrying ring.
Excellent. $75.00
ACCOU #28509 Webbed Belt with Fixed D-Ring
This "under the tunic" webbed belt is a lighter green olive color. There would have been many organizations that could have used this belt as basically it was worn beneath the tunic and used to service the hanging of a dagger. There is a fixed brown leather loop having a gilded D-ring. The gilded D-ring matches the gilded buckle which is also equipped with a roller. Just thinking about it this rig could be used for an NPEA leader’s dagger, any kind of a forestry or hunting dagger or basically any dagger which would have hangers with a snap clip hardware at the top. Either way, someone out there probably has a good use for this original rig.
Excellent Plus. $125.00
ACCOU #28515 Black Leather Sword Sling
This black leather sword sling has a gold rectangular buckle and a gold D-ring for the belt loop at the top. The black leather, though, could have been worn by army officers as they certainly wore black boots. The gold buckle and D-ring would go nicely with the gilded hilt of the sword. This sling is about 20-inches in length and shows some attic crazing in the surfaces as well as age. It is still relatively sound though but could use a little leather nurture to soften it up some. It is complete with a nickel-plated regain chain and hook. The snap clip at the reverse of the gold buckle is DRGM marked and also painted black.
Excellent. $225.00
ACCOU #28516 Black Leather Sword Sling
This black leather sword sling is about 20-inches in length and is fitted with a gold rectangular buckle and a gold D-ring which retains the belt loop above. The black painted snap clip at the reverse of the gold buckle is DRGM marked. This leather could use some nurturing but it is still basically sound having decorative trim lines on the edges. This is likely an army sword hanger which would go with the officer’s black boots and the gold trim would go with the gilded sword hilt.
Excellent. $195.00
ACCOU #23771 SA Two Piece Vertical Rig
This vertical rig shows a little bit of mild age to the leather pieces. There is more age to the grip retaining loop but it is still serviceable having a good working strap. The nickel-plated D-ring is retained by a rivet which holds the belt loop closed.
Excellent. $150.00
ACCOU #28521 SA Two Piece Vertical Rig
This SA two-piece vertical rig is of thinner leather than we normally see them but it is absolutely original. The matching leather is a slightly lighter brown color than we usually see. The D-ring is in choice condition being nickel-plated and retained by a belt loop which is riveted together. The SA grip leather loop is matching and has a working snap being retained by a matching rivet. This is a good-looking rig here.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $125.00
ACCOU #28524 Brown Leather Belt Loop
This belt loop is composed of excellent brown leather being slightly larger and thicker than the usual for an SA hanger. Most likely it is for some piece of equipment. Attached to the leather loop is a fairly heavy duty nickel-plated snap clip. This looks like something that may have been used to carry possibly an instrument or a canteen, etc.
Excellent Plus. $40.00
ACCOU #23456 Naval Webbed Belt with White Leather Sword Sling
This rigging consists of a blue webbed belt which has a brown leather front with brass buckle and roller portion at the top. Permanently affixed to the webbed belt is a brown leather belt loop containing a naval sword sling. The sling consists of about a 20-inch length of white leather strapping. At the top of the strapping there is a brass chain and regain hook. At the lower area there is a dual set of lion mask buckles and at the reverse there is a small leather strap attached which has a black painted snap clip. This rig apparently was set up for a sword with only one hanging ring. To my knowledge this would accommodate the naval infantry as often these naval sabers were suspended in army style metal scabbards. This would be a very rare item if you happen to have the right sword for it.
Excellent. $195.00
ACCOU #20125 Kreigsmarine Hangers
This set of Kreig’s Marine naval hangers look to me as though they may have been owned by a NCO rather than an officer. The hangers are the gilded aluminum type, showing a little modest wear on the lion masks and some on the snaps. The lion masks are a matched pair, as both have the 6 dots on the lower mask reverse. The regain chain and hook is also present and it has an addition which was period done. The addition is a naval button affixed to the regain chain. This gives it a neat look. Another addition is the replacement of the snap clip on the short strap. The clip that is on this strap now is a gold color to match the rest, and it is “OLC” marked on the reverse with an “RZM”. The gold finish is about 98%. This is the type of things that normally would not have been done by an officer but most likely by an NCO petty officer. An interesting set of straps here that should be very collectible.
Near Mint. $697.00
ACCOU #5637 Early RAD Hanger
This early RAD hanger is the 1st style that was used on the RAD hewer. These hangers prove to be inefficient for the extreme weight of the hewer, so they were replaced with the bullet style in about 1936. This example is the early initial type. It is composed of black leather which is folded at a 45° angle at the bottom where it went through the “U” fitting on the scabbard of an RAD hewer. A separate hasp and buckle with short belt kept the hanger closed. The small retaining loop is still in position. This leather is a black color and the retaining loop is a brown color. The buckle has patinated to a black color. There is some wear to the lower portion of the hanger, but nothing that is bad. This hanger will clean up nice and would be a great item to display with a full stag example or an ultra early numbered example RAD hewer.
Excellent Plus. $395.00
ACCOU #28427 RAD Bullet Hanger with Belt Loop
This RAD bullet hanger is a very fine example. The leather parts on the obverse are all black color and on the reverse it is a brown color material. The upper loop section is separately snapped to the lower bullet hanger. The snap clip has fairly good nickel plating and good leather loop area. The clamp below nicely matches and has a large “A” on the back with the letters “A” and “S” stamped also. The leather bullet section of the RAD hewer is in choice condition throughout. It is getting very difficult to find these two-piece bullet hangers. This one would go very nicely with an excellent plus plus to near mint hewer.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $495.00
ACCOU #5904 RAD Bullet Hanger with Belt Loop
This RAD bullet hanger is a very fine example. It has black leather on the obverse and the reverse is done in a brown leather. The belt loop is attached via a wire hardware. This belt loop is in choice condition throughout. The leather to the bullet hanger is also in fine condition on both sides. The reverse is marked with the maker “th.Seibod/offenbach a.m./1937". Below this is what appears to be an assignment to an RAD group “1 38 B.A.Fü.” The snap clip buckle is in near mint condition, being marked with an “A” and the letters “a” and “s” beneath and also having the RAD triangle and the year “37" below. An extremely nice example, especially with the unit marking.
Near Mint. $595.00
ACCOU #4511 Army Teardrop Sword Hanger
This army teardrop sword hanger is about 7½ inches in overall length. It is the adjustable type having a couple of button hole slots with an aluminum boss. The original retainer loop is still in place. The top is folded over and retains a closed box clip. The snap clip at the bottom is one of the thinner types where it is pressed in. It is nickel plated and in perfect condition. The leather is still extremely nice on this example. The obverse is a rich brown color and the reverse is a grey color. A nice looking army hanger here.
Mint Minus. $150.00
ACCOU #4508 Army Teardrop Sword Hanger
This teardrop sword hanger has been adjusted to the short length but it has another button hole where it could be extended to the normal 7½ inch length. This is now at about 6½ inches. The hanger is the fold over type at the top and it has a good, nickel plated closed box clip. The boss is a fine matching nickel as is the snap clip at the lower. The hanger has a matching brown backing. Overall, this hanger is in very nice condition.
Near Mint. $115.00
ACCOU #4505 Army Teardrop Sword Hanger
This sword hanger has excellent brown leather obverse with an unusual grey leather reverse. It is 7½ inches long and it is the style with a fold over top loop which contains a “D” ring fitting which would attach to an accouterment inside of the uniform. The teardrop has two button holes and a boss. The retainer leather loop is in place. The lower snap clip has fairly good nickel plating but does show some age and has about 85% of the original finish. A very interesting teardrop here and an excellent specimen to complete your sword.
Excellent Plus. $115.00
ACCOU #9181 Early Issue Army Hangers
A great example of early
issue Army hangers. Includes a fine brass closed box clip and oval buckles,
in very good condition. The pebbled push clips and vibrant green felt backing
are in good shape. Overall, these hangers show
some wear but are generally excellent throughout.
Excellent. $195.00
ACCOU #15610 Deluxe Army Hangers
A nice fine example
of Deluxe Army hangers. This example is little longer than average and
in a very desirable condition. Oak leave decoration throughout and D.R.G.M.
marked on upper box clipand lower push up clips. Excellent condition on front
brocade and backing. Nice hangers here.
Excellent. $150.00
ACCOU #25574 RAD Leader Hangers
This set of
RAD Leader hangers measures overall a little bit over 9 inches.
They feature outstanding tan leather straps which have line decoration
running down the length of the edges. These straps are in excellent
condition throughout with little to no signs of age. These straps
are still nice and supple. The hangers are equipped with the standard
box fitting at the top. This fitting is stamped with the letter
a. The rectangular buckles have a pebbled surface
as do the slides below. The snaps on this set of hangers are a
little bit unusual. They are not the standard aluminum type, but
appear to be a heavier duty variety which are nickel plated and
have built in tension springs. Looking at the hanger area along
with the sewing, it is obvious that these lower snaps have always
been on this set of hangers. I have seen snaps like this on other
occasions. A 100% original set of RAD hangers in choice condition.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $675.00
ACCOU #25570 Early Pre-RZM SS Hanger
This SS hanger
resembles the standard types which came into play about 1935.
It differs a lot, also, in that it has a larger look to it and
is more substantially made. It resembles the vertical hanger that
I show in my SS book on Page 588, far right. This hanger has a
very large scabbard loop which is about 2 ½ to 3 times
the width of the size seen on the standard variety. The upper
portion of the hanger is coffin shaped. It is equipped with a
leather loop having a black painted buckle, equipped with a roller
and hasp. The leather strapping is beginning to age, but it is
still in good condition and is serviceable. The large lower loop
of this hanger is retained by two rivets in the reverse. At the
upper portion is a large sword-like nickel plated snap clip. This
clip is retained by folded over leather, which is also double-riveted.
A great hanger to use with an early dagger. Most unusual, and
absolutely original!
Excellent Plus. $495.00
ACCOU #26647 Imperial Officers Shaving Brush Bullion Troddel
This troddel
is a real beauty, having blue cotton-like strapping with triple
rows of bullion lines running down the length. The slide is a
beautiful silver bullion style having blue thread highlights.
The stem features a blue silk-like cover having silver bullion
wavelike threads running through it surfaces. The lower cap is
of silver bullion as is the long brush-like hanging bouillon strands
which are over a blue cotton strand base. This is a very elaborate
portepee which would be an outstanding addition to the right edged
weapon. I do know now what the blue and silver colors would represent
in the Imperial Army, but for those who may, this is a great knot.
Near Mint. $250.00
ACCOU #27668C Early Brass Army Hangers
The silver gild
has been worn away from these hangers, to reveal a brilliant brass.
Being an early make, the metal used in thier construction is always of the best quality.
With the gild gone, these hangers begin to resemble those that would have been issued to a General.
There is some wear on the brocade and backing, but both still appear
pleasing to the eye. The buckles, box-clip, slides, and snap clips
are all in good condition, showing only normal wear and tear.
The oak leaves and pebbling are brilliant, extremely well preserved. These Army hangers are
in good shape considering their age. A nice, and rare, set of hangers here.
Excellent. $200.00
ACCOU #27651C Army Officer Hangers
These interesting
Army hangers are still in fine condition, even though some minor usage wear
is evident. The backing and brocade remain suprisingly vibrant. What appears to be an ordinary box-clip
houses the rarely seen leather reinforcement for the straps. Excellent detail remains evident
throughout the buckles and slides. The pebbling and spring action are still
fresh on the snap clips. These are some very nice Army hangers here, reasonably priced for
their condition.
Good. $175.00
ACCOU #24470 Yugoslavian Nylon Air Force Portepee
This portepee
looks similar to an Imperial naval style, except that instead
of being flecked with a red and black colors in the cording, it
has red and blue colors. It is a fine nylon construction throughout.
The stem also has blue and red fleck, and the nylon lower knot
is stuffed with the Yugoslavian colors of blue red and white.
This knot would add a lot of spice to your Yugo Air Force Dagger.
It is in full mint condition, still having its original wrapping,
and is identical to the one which is shown in the Berger book
on page 267.
Mint. $95.00
ACCOU #27367 Army General Hanging Straps
This set of
army generals hanging straps are a "no question about
it" accouterment. The hardware is the deluxe type which features
the oak leafed, closed top clip, the oval buckles and slides and
the push-up type snaps with oak leaf fronts and DRGM marked backs.
Throughout this hardware, there is lots of original gilt which
remains on most pieces at approximately 50%. This is not an early
set of brass hangers that are being passed off as army generals.
These fittings are the standard pot metal type and the gilding
here is the real deal. The brocade straps are still relatively
clean and there is no fraying to the fine, green velvet backs.
The straps are retained to the closed top clip via green leather
tabs. These tabs are still in excellent condition. If you would
like to mount an army dagger with a generals tunic, this
would be a good opportunity. These hangers are not mint, but they
are genuine!
Excellent. $495.00
ACCOU #27617 Unknown Original Third Reich Hanging Straps
This set of
hanging straps is 10 inches long. The purpose of these hangers
is unknown to me; however, there is no question that they were
actually worn with a dagger and worn for some time. The construction
and materials indicate that they were produced definitely during
the Third Reich. It is possible that they could have been used
by one of the axis dagger countries, but if this is the case,
I do not recognize them, as the really do not resemble the style
of some of the countries that wore similar hangers such as Bulgaria
and Croatia. These straps have a fine silver brocade front with
twin green lines that run the length. The brocade is sewn to a
green leather backing. This leather is still quite supple and
is in good condition. The brocade fronts show age and patination
but no fray. The hardware for these hangers is a plain box clip
at the top and the lower buckles, slides and push-up style snaps
are standard army issue variety. This hardware has the silver
plated surfaces and as is usually the case, they do show deterioration
of the plating and some corrosion here and there. It is possible
that these straps could have been used for some type of a hunting
or forestry cutlass that was carried by suspension rings instead
of a frog. It is also possible that the straps could have been
for some type of a heavy-duty customs edged weapon. Your guess
is as good as mine, but, whatever they are, this is an original
set and would be a welcome addition if someone out there has a
dagger missing these hangers!
Excellent. $995.00
ACCOU #24093 RAD Officer Hangers
This set of
RAD Officer Hangers is equipped with swivel tops. The tops have
metal, which is bent over and held by rivets. The metal is attached
to a closed box clip, which is marked with the A,
atypical of RAD hangers. The hardware is all covered aluminum
in rectangular buckles, slides, and push-in style snaps with rounded
tops. The leather strapping is the typical tan variety, and these
straps remain in excellent condition.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $695.00
ACCOU #27185C Army General Hanging Straps
This set of
Army General Straps is fairly long, measuring about 11 ½
inches overall. All of the fittings on this example are of high
quality brass, which still has its original gilded surfaces throughout.
This is not just brass, which is shined up to look like gilt,
but it is the regular fire gilt, that we are used to seeing on
sword parts and other 3rd Reich made artifacts. This set of hangers
is equipped with a closed box clip at the top, which also has
about 95% of its gilt remaining. The ovaled buckles have outstanding
detail to their raised out oak leaves, as do the slides and the
push-in style lower snaps with rounded tops. Each of these fittings
has about 95% of its original gilt. It is very rare to see an
original set of Army Generals Hangers, and these certainly
are! The brocade on the obverse is still clean and crisp, and
the reverse velvet of the snaps, shows only the most modest of
wear. Even the hasp fittings in the buckles reflect a gilded finish!
An outstanding original set here.
Excellent Plus, Plus. $1,195.00
ACCOU #4866 Unidentified Black Leather Teardrop Hanger
This unusual
black, teardrop-shaped leather hanger is about 6 inches in length.
It is equipped with a "D" ring at the top. The ring
is secured, having extra leather at the top being folded over
and retained with an aluminum boss and small strap. At the lower
portion, there is a "U" shaped retaining fitting covered
with matching black leather - this "U" fitting is designed
to snugly fit under a lug. In the center of the hanger, is a matching
cross strap with snap button. It was meant to retain a grip in
place. I tried this hanger on a couple of things. It works well
on a shooting cutlass or a small proportion clamshell Police bayonet.
Probably would work on other things also. It shows usage, but
is still in very serviceable condition. Definitely a 3rd Reich,
German-produced accouterment here. Nice item.

ACCOU #16021 Grey/Light Brown Woolen Sword Storage Bag
This example
is in choice condition and measures about 38 inches overall. It
is the style having machine sewn stitching running around all
the edges. The top is a little unusual in that it folds over to
close. The top flap is equipped with two snaps, having leather
reinforcement on the opposite side. This great bag has no mothing
what-so-ever, and is in perfect condition. I slipped a Diplomatic
Degen I had laying around into it, and it fit great. It would
also work well for a shorter SS/Police Degen. It is hard to find this
kind of accoutrement, especially in this condition.

ACCOU #1405 Red, Silver & Blue Striped Unidentified Hanging Straps
These beautiful
hanging straps were most-likely made for a Red Cross General.
The fittings are identical to normal Red Cross Leader examples
with the exception they have been gilted. The gilting shows wear
and age, but is still hanging in there at about 90% to 95%. These
fittings consist of a smooth finish snap clip, smooth oval buckles
and slides, and smooth snaps. The front fabric though, is really
something. It is an off-red, kind of carmine color. The fronts
feature two bullion stripes, accented with a deep blue one in
the center. They run the length of the facing. The reverse is
a fine matching color, off-red velvet. The reverse shows mild
wear and proper stitching - the stitching was loose and I had
it repaired here - no big deal and undetectable. Would have been
a shame to have these rare straps falling apart. Love the looks
of these straps, and what a treat to the eye they would make displayed
with a set of Red Cross and Social Welfare Hangers. Beautiful
hanging straps of definite period construction. This pieces comes from the
famous A.W. Perry collection of accoutrements.
Excellent Plus. $1,295.00
ACCOU #26832 Bahnschutz Railway Portepee
This Railway
portepee comes from the old Tony Perry accouterment collection.
The cord on this portepee is the fatter type, but not quite as
thick as the Johnson remakes. The cording is a fine bullion which
has black specks running in the surfaces. The cord shows only
the most nominal of wear. There is a slide which is decorated
with silver bullion thread and has black v designs
running through it. The stem is the same as the slide, having
the same v treatment with the black material. There
is a slight amount of fraying to the stem where this portepee
was worn at one time. The ball below is a fairly small style.
This ball is composed of black and aluminum bullion yarnlike material
and it alternates in color. The insert of the ball is a black
felt material but does not appear to be as thick as the remake
variety. The bullion material over the wood base is extremely
tight, with none of the spaces or looseness that we see with the
remakes. A fine original knot here that is ready to go onto your
Bahnschutz dagger.

ACCOU #26749C British Naval Sword Portepee
This sword
portepee is of gold bullion fabric, having two black decorative
stripes that run the length. The lower area has a slide consisting
of black and gold bullion which matches a pinecone shaped lower
ball, also made of the same weaved material. I believe that this
is a knot for a British naval sword and would look terrific, if
you have a nice example. The knot shows age but is in unissued
condition.

ACCOU #19356 World's Largest Collection of Troddels/Portepees
Enlisted Men
and NCOs of the German Wehrmacht wore colorful troddels and knots
tied to the frog of their bayonets. The many different combinations
of colors designated the individual regiment and company to which
the carrier belonged. With the new Portepee and Troddel Book recently
released by Rex Reddick, (Available in my catalog), it should
be fun to identify all these different troddel accouterments.
Bill Laret has spent the last 40 years looking for these troddels
and knots in an attempt to find each and every example that exists.
Several years ago Bill bought an entire collection of knots from
British researcher/author Brian Leigh Davis, just to get a few
of the key pieces in that particular collection. Whether this
collection is complete or not is hard to say. There are about
85 examples in the collection and we would like to sell it as
one lot. Many very rare troddels, all in collectible to mint condition.

ACCOU #18343 Green Woolen Dagger Storage Bag
This fine dagger
storage bag is made of a dark green wool. The edges are trimmed
with a grey binding material which is sewn to the wool. This bag
measures 18 inches overall. It has a drawstring top and the edges
have the pinching shear cut. This bag also has the name of its
producer printed in red on a cloth tag sewn to the bottom. The
name is Lindemann Ohg/Wetter (Ruhr). The color of
this bag would indicate to me that it was for the storage of a
Land Custom Officials dagger, but I could be wrong.

ACCOU #15024 Rust Color Woolen Sword Storage Bag
This fine sword
storage bag is in full mint condition. It is a rust-colored wool

and would be perfect for a choice condition Luftwaffe Generals
Degen. A real beauty here.

ACCOU #20042 Brown Woolen Sword Storage Bag
This woolen
sword storage bag is a fine deep brown color, and it has only
a couple of nominal moth tracks in its surfaces. There is only
one tiny hole and that is near the bottom area. This sword bag
is sewn on all the edges with fabric reinforcement. The top area
has the pinching shear cut. The original drawstring is weaved
through the holes. There is brown leather reinforcement which
shows age, but is still there at the bottom tip of this storage
bag. This bag measures overall, forty inches in length and would
be good for any Army sword.

ACCOU #24717 Brown Woolen Sword Storage Bag

sword storage bag is a lighter color brown color, and it shows
almost no mothing, being in fine condition. The seams are all
sewn throughout the three sides, the bottom having extra stitches
put in for strength. The top of the bag is cut straight and it
is equipped with a drawstring fed through its holes. This bag
measures 42 inches and would accommodate a good long Army Officer
sword. A fine bag here.
